I decided to walk for a while. I stopped when I heard someone calling me. As I turn my head, I saw a silhouette running towards me. I sniff the air, it's Shane's scent.

"Wait Flame! Where are you going?" He asked while controlling his ragged breath. I'm confused why he chose to run instead of teleporting or using his vampire speed.

"Why did you run?" I asked. I'm bothered by his breathing, it is so loud against my sensitive ears.

"I just feel like it!"
"So why are you here?"

"I'm having a walk, t-to relax." I said stuttering.

"You're not a good lier Flame.  I know you're going to leave him. I came after you to offer some help!"

Shocked, I asked.
"What?" I said the words a little loud.
"Do you want that Zire will get angry to you too? No, I can't forgive myself if you and Zire will fight just because of me." I said dismissing his offer.

"You're not a JUST Flame. You're Zire's mate. You are my friends mate. I'll help you because I believe that you and him will be together again. I told you that he's not angry at you, he's just hurt and the pain he felt right now will be gone after some time and I want  when that time comes, I know where to find you."

I just stare at him not able to believe the he's really going to help me.

"You can stay in my aunts house. It's quite far though, but you know, we can just teleport right?"

"I didn't accept your offer yet"

"But I know you will. So, let's go?" He asked.

I nod my head. He holds my hand and closed my eyes.

We reached at his Aunt's house.  Nobody lives here anymore, he's aunt migrated at New Zealand. After Shane sends me here, he left immediately. He wanted to be back in the house before the sun rises. I wonder what will Zire feel when he noticed that I'm gone. Is he going to look for me? I hope that I'm making the right decision. I'm hoping that one day, Zire will forgive me in rejecting him.

I unpacked the things inside my backpack. I only brought two shorts, undies and blouses. I don't any have food to eat, the fridge is empty. Shane left me cash to buy what I needed.
I'll will go the mall when the sun rises but for now, sleep is what I needed.

ZIRE

I watched her left the room, tears streaming down her face. It takes lots of effort to stop myself from coming after her and to comfort her. For now, it is better to to be like this until the pain I felt from her betrayals will be gone than lie to myself and to her that I'm okay when the truth is not. I'm really hurt about what she did. The pain I felt from that night of her rejection to me is still fresh. And I became more hurt when I discovered that she help Klaus just to save his bestfriend Jake, Klaus's son. He chose him than me his mate. I don't know what Flame saw in him, why did he forgive him easily. What's worst is, that Jake is here, in my house!
I groaned angrily thinking of that bastard. I rise from my bed and went to the bathroom. I haven't heard Flame's cries now. I hope that she's asleep.

After I have my bath, I changed and went downstairs. The kitchen is busy now, my men's mate are preparing foods for the breakfast already. When they saw me, they bow and greeted me. I greeted them back then I grabbed a chair and sat down on it. Keira, the younger one here gives me a coffee. I accepted it and she proceeded to what she's doing.

"Kiera?" I called.
"Yes master?"

"Can you send Flame some coffee as well?"

"Of course" She started to make a coffee. When she's done, she excuses herself and  brought the coffee to Flame's room.

Minutes later, she came back with a coffee still on her hands.  I gave her a curious face.

"Master, your mate isn't in her room."

"What? Have you checked the bathroom?" I asked. I stood from my chair.

"Yes master" She said not able to look at me in the eyes.

"Shit" I said angrily.

Using my vampire speed I went to her parents room. They woke up when they saw me in their room. I sniff the air, I can smell Flame's fading scent here.

"Where's Flame? Where's my mate?" I asked.  I started to get panicked when the both of them said they don't know.
I left them and went to Jake's room. I don't like to see him but I don't have a choice, I need to find Flame. Jake's face was shocked when he saw me storming inside his room.

"Where's Flame?" I asked angrily.

"I don't know, I haven't seen her yet since last night!" He's not lying, I can feel it.

I left his room and went to my study room. I mindlink Shane to come and see me as soon as possible.

"Where are you Flame?" I said to myself.

The door opened and Shane came in. His hair are still wet.

"I hope this is important Zire. I didn't finish my showe-"

"Flame is gone"  I cut him off. I don't have time for his complains. He look at me shock.

"What! Are you sure?" He asked.

"Did you think I'm joking here! She's gone Shane. I checked his parents room or even Jake's room but I didn't find her there. I already asked the men who guarded the entrance if they saw Flame left but they said they don't. Damn!" I cursed.

"Maybe she left in her own choice!" Shane said. My eyes snap to him when I heard what he said.

"No! She wouldn't leave me!" I said angrily.

"How can you be so sure? The two of you fight just this dawn right?" I look at Shane in disbelief.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"The people who leaves here Zire are vampires. I am a vampire. In case you forgot, vampires have sensitive ears." He said.

"Try to remember the things you told her?" Shane asked.

"I just told her to leave." As I say those words, realization hits me. I look at Shane in shock.

"No! That's  not what I meant. "She misinterpreted it. I told her told leave in my room not in my life" I said panicked. I stood from the chair with a determination to find her.

"Where are you going?" Shane asked stopping me.

"We will look for her." I said.

"If we find her, are you ready to forgive her?" I stare at Shane. His question hits me hard. I swallow the lump forming in my throat.

"If you don't know your answer with that question, I suggest you to leave her alone first. She has a reason why she left and maybe your answer of that question is one of it."

Shane is right. I don't know the answer of his question. I don't know if I'll forgive her if I ever found her. I sigh and sat down on the chair. I close my eyes, Flame's face flashes in my head. I heard the door opened then shut closed. Shane left, leaving me in my misery.
