A Night To Remember

Chapter 29

My eyes are at Klaus. In my peripheral vision, I can see Shane coming towards us but he stopped as he saw Zire lying on the floor.

"Get him away from here." I told Shane using the mindlink. One of the things I practiced when I was in Hailey's house is the mindlink. I can mindlink only the people who chose to be mindlinked and I'm glad Shane allows me to.

She didn't move. He's confused what to do.

"But how about you?" He asked. "Zire wouldn't be happy if I'll leave you here fighting with him alone."

"I can defeat him. I promise to be alived. Please.. just save him first. I can't fight properly knowing my mate's body is there lying unconcious on the floor."

Shane nods his head, doubts in his mind but despite of it he obeys my decision. He carried Zire slowly and exits the door.

I focus my gaze to Klaus, giving him a hard stare.

"You can't scape! Tonight,I'll make sure that you'll regret that you came back." I told Klaus.

"Let's see!" Klaus said challenging me.

He advances at me, raising his hands trying to hit me in the face but I was able to avoid it.

"You crazy bitch" He attacked me but I just avoided it. Every punches he throws at me were useless. He knit his eyebrows at me when he realized what I am doing.

"Tired?" I asked the same word he asked me when he killed Hailey. I smirk watching his expression.

"You have no one to save you now! All your useless sidekicks are dead." I told him the sad truth.

"I don't need them. I can kill you without their help!" Klaus shouted angrily.

I gave him a smirk.
"Really"

My eyes are bloody red now for sure. I can't wait to sink my fangs on him.
He's the reason for all of this. He's the reason why Zire and I aren't together. He's the reason why Jake lied to me. He's the reason for everything bad happened in my life and I want to stop it now.

Before he noticed me I lunged at him. I clawed his chest twice. Bloods tainted his ripped shirt. I pushed him hardly, he flies on the air and hits his body on the window, the glass shattered by the impact. He whimpered in pain but he didn't beg me to stop. I stalk towards him and punched him hardly on the stomach. He don't have a fight in me, especially now because the monster in me already takes over my body. I grabbed his collar. He coughed then looks at me, still smirking.

"Did you know how angry your mate was when I told him that you came to me and made a plan on  killing  him?"

Shocked, I asked.
"What do you mean?"

"You are so dumb of not knowing that my enemy is your mate. The person that I wanted to kill is your mate. And you being a  fool, helps me plan for his death. After this, you'll be a  mateless monster!" He spat at me.

His words hits me hard.
My hold on his collar losen. He used this time to kick me. My knees wobbled, I fell on the floor groaning. When he noticed that I'm hurt, he throw punches at me. I can smell blood, my blood. Klaus grabs my hair making me face him.

"Oh, does it hurt? Don't worry, I will erase all the pain you're feeling right now" He's mocking me.

I stare at him, blankly. My mind is still with Zire. Why didn't I know it? Why didn't I know that Zire was his enemy?

When I didn't answer, Klaus slaps me hard. My face turns sideways by the impact.

"Goodbye Flame!"

He open his mouth ready to sink his fangs at me but he was stopped by Jake. He's holding a dagger and stabbed it at Klaus back. Klaus turn his head angrily.  He let go of me and give Jake a punch on the face. Klaus gets the dagger from his back. Despite of his wound, he can still move. He walks closer to  Jake. He's determined to kill him.

I stand up, wobbling. I wouldn't let him kill Jake.  I won't let him kill another person close to my heart. What Jake have done was unforgivable but my love for him wouldn't just go away. I treated him as my best friend and a brother.

"Klaus!" I called him. He stops and turn his body facing me.

"Fight me!" I challenged him.

"I'd love to!" He smirk.

I can defeat him. He has lots of wounds and cuts than me. He didn't heal. I know he's starting to get weak but he's not showing it.

My claws coming out. My fangs is ready to bite him. My eyes are on him only. I attack him, claws digging on his stomach.

"I'm going to kill you! Your life will be the payment in everything you've done!" I said.

"You can't kill me"

"Oh, I can. Trust me!" I said close to his ear.

He wasn't able to reply as I sank my fangs into his flesh then my hand slowly crawls up into his chest. I ripped his heart away from his body. I like how it sounds. I let go of his body and it fell on the ground with a loud thug. I throw his heart away from him. I wiped his blood from my mouth. I felt contented about what I've done. Deep in me, I'm feeling happy!

I ran to Jake, checking him.

"Are you okay?" I asked. My mouth opened in shock as I saw the damaged that Klaus gave him to his body. He needs to be treated as soon as possible. I mindlinked Shane to ask for a help. In just a minute, he is already here. His men following him.

"Are you fine Flame?" He asked. I nod my head. His eyes went to Klaus body.

"You were able kill him!" He stated.

"Shane, Jake needs to be treated. Please help him" I pleaded. Shane's body turn into disgust as he look at Jake.

"But Flame, he's Klaus's son. He is the reason why he is alive."

"Yes, but he's the reason why I'm alive too. He saved me Shane. " Shane's gaze went to Jake then back to me. A smile form on my lips as he nod his head.

"Thank you!" My smile faded when I remember my parents.

"My parents, they're here too" I told Shane.

"They're already at the house Flame. They are treated now!"
I released a sigh of relief  knowing that they are already safe.

"Let's go Flame, you need to he treated as well" I nod.

I saw Shane's men carrying Jake. I'm glad that they help him.
