A Night To Remember

Chapter 7

We arrived at the beach just in time. It isn't too hot anymore. We searched for a place where we can see the sunset clearly. Jake sat on the sand while I am on a rock. We were watching the sunset, appreciating the beauty of God's creation. God is indeed powerful, he created everything, the sun, sea, sky and all the things I am seeing right now. I wonder if God also created the vampires, vampire like Zire. I stopped thinking about Zire when I saw Jake taking pictures on me. He didn't even stop clicking it even if I already caught him. I made an scowling face and tried to stopped him but he just ran away from me. I ran after him to get the camera but every time I am already closed to him, he will run fast again. We did this almost half an hour and still I wasn't able to catch him. I really need to get the camera because if not, I am really sure that he will show those pictures to my parents and to Hailey and they will laugh at me again. Jake already did this prank many times and he will show it to my parents and of course, my loving parents will also laugh and tease me for a week or even a month.

"JAKERY.... ISRAEL ...CLARKSON.....!" I shouted. Jake stops laughing as he heard me calling him in his complete name. My hand quickly covered my mouth as soon as I realized what I have said. I remembered that Jake don't like being called by his real name. He just don't like it because he thinks his name is funny, well it is really funny, indeed. He smirks at me as he noticed my expression, he walk towards me slowly. My mind went panicked, my only escape from him.....is..to....run and so, I ran. I turned my head only to see Jake running after me laughing. As he saw me lowering my pace, he take this as an opportunity to catch me, he hold my hips tightly afraid that I might escaped.
"Gotcha Flame!" He laughed. " I know I can run faster than you"

"Give me the camera Jake! Or else our friendship will be over!" I said to him teasingly.
Jake just shakes his head.
"No, not until I'll have my revenge on you for calling me my real name!....." He stops from talking, his face got serious, he moves his nose to my neck and inhales my scent. I wasn't able to reply, my mind went panicked. Its a feeling of deja vu. I felt Jake's hand slowly moving from my hips up to my side... and then.......he...... god damn tickles me.......
" No, Jake! Stop!" ahhhhhhh" We were laughing uncontrollably now. Jake stops tickling me as I promised to him that I will not call him anymore by his complete name. He gave me the camera and allows me to delete all the pictures the he had taken me while ago. I really looked awful and funny on those pictures. Thanks God the he let me delete those pictures.

It is already dark now and we are still in the beach, sitting on the sand watching the waves.

"Oh, Jakeee!" We both turned our head as we heared a man's voice from behind. Jake flinched and his face hardened as soon as he saw the man. We stood up and he quickly hold my hands and bring me closer to him. I can feel his trembling hand against mine.

"And...who is this lady with you?" The man speaks with authority.

"No one!" Jake answered. He looks at me concerned in his eyes.
"Flame! Can you excuse us for a while, j-just wait for me in the car! " Jake said while slowly pushing me.
" Hurry Flame" I looked at Jake then nod my head and ran away from them but before they're out of my sight, I stopped and looked at them for once. Jake's hands turn to a fist while talking to the man. I wondered who this man was? I have never seen Jake this scared and angry before. I was startled as my phone rings. I answered the phone and walks towards the car.
"Hello, dad!"
"Flame, Honey! Its time for dinner. Your mom and Hailey are preparing the table already." I mentally slapped myself as I remembered the dinner.
"Ahh..okay dad... We're going home now..." I say goodbye to my dad and opened the car. Jake came to the car minutes later. I was about to open my mouth to ask him when he suddenly looks at me with a serious face.
"Flame, Please promise me, that you will stay away from that man. If possible, do not talk to him. I can't tell you the reasons for now but Flame, just trust me... and promise it to me....! I nod my head.
"O-okay, Jake... I promised" I smiled to reassure him. He released a deep sigh and gives me a nod.

We arrived at the house safe and sound. Jake went to his room while I went to the kitchen, mom and dad was there.
"Hi mom?dad?" I went to them and hugged them.
"Where's Hailey dad?" I asked my dad while kissing him on the cheek.
"She went in her room to change. You too Flame, you change first and then come back for dinner." I nod my head and went to my room and changed.

This is all for now....i know this chapter is quite boring...... My brain wasn't functioning well as I wrote this chapter......Grrrrr......
