After I snapped out of my inner thoughts, I looked for a flash drive in Hugh's office. The room was painted with a lime green-ish color. There were no picture frames whatsoever and there was nothing more than three huge bookshelfs, filled with encyclopedias, novels, mystery books and personal files, a chair, and a wooden desk with a computer, a little filing cabinet and a lot of paper and pens on top of it, just like a desk from an office. He also had a printer stacked on paper and ink and some old files in the middle of the room.
I got in and I went straight to his desk. He had several drawers in it; some were even a secret! I checked everything and I found a flash drive on a secret drawer. Since I had found it in a secret drawer, I checked his content on the computer. I suspected it was a trapped flash drive, that would release a virus into the computer where it would be plugged in, so I checked everything on the computer first. There was nothing important in there. Disappointed, I plugged the flash drive in and I transfered the local drive into the flash drive. I did the same for the laptop in the living room.
When I went back, I had finished my search in the computer and the drawers, so I decided to check the filing cabinet and the files on the floor. You know, for someone who had a filing cabinet, he didn't use it that much. It looked like he prefered to use the floor as a filing cabinet. I closed the three drawers on it and I got on my knees, to check the files.
As soon as I did so, I noticed a paper taped to the down side of one of the desk drawers that I had left open. I picked it up and I read it out loud. "Dear Mr. Fisc. You have been invited for a party thrown by the Ambassador in his house (9th with Madison, number 73), at 9 pm, in the 12th of June. You were invited by the Ambassador himself to protect him in the party, since he received information that a spy will be on the party. We know you have received another invite, but this one is the real one. You can use the other as decoy but bring it to the party to show to the Security, because they don't know a thing. Don't forget to also bring these invite to show it to me, or I will kill you for being a spy. Also, you must wear a formal outfit and expect no dinner."
"Wait, so this is the real invite?" I thought. "So he was a spy for the Pakistans... And his latest assignment was to defend the Ambassador. But how would they know that there would be a spy at the party? Well, anyway, I must bring both the invites to the party."
I spent some more time analizing the files but they were all bills for what I assumed was his restaurant. After that, I went to his bedroom and changed outfits. I went to my phone to search where the Ambassador's house was and I would still take some time to get there, so I took everything that found (flash drive, laptop, fake and real invite and the files [even though they had nothing important]) and I packed it in a briefcase I had on the back of the car, the one with the fake in it. I was ready for the party, so I called my boss one last time to give him an update about the real Hugh Fisc and the party's location. I got on my car and I drove there.
