Fate

"Why cant you?!" Tina called to him as he began to walk off sheepish "we are not even related" she scoffed, pacing back to her intensely Daryl spoke "no one would understand. They just wouldnt. I think you should hang out with Maggie, Glenn or Beth. Us spending too much time together with things the way they are we are getting confused, you are so young, i feel like ive taken advantage like dad wanted to" Tina may of not liked what she was hearing but maybe he had a point. No one would understand. And why did he have to flood her head with memories of his father? "Whatever Daryl."

When Shane and Rick came back it was clear things had turned ugly, they still had Randall for one and the boys were bloodied and angry. Tina was quite relieved she didnt go with them but still joined the others in finding out what happened. "You guys alright?" Lori asked them skeptical, Shane barged past her and walked towards the stables. Checking if anyone was looking Tina scuttled off to see him, knowing he wouldnt beat round the bush and tell her what had happened.

"Why is Randall still here?" Tina asked leaning on the door frame, Shane shook his head and ignored her "you two fallen out?" She teased referring back to his comment about her and Daryl. "Just conflict of interests!" He snapped back pacing, Tina could of been anyone, it was clear he wasnt thinking straight and his mind was elsewhere. "Randall aint safe! With him here we aint safe!" Shane kept repeating over and over again. "Shane...i think--" Tina tried to reason but he ignored her and interrupted "Tina just stay out of this will ya?" He snapped but realised he didnt mean it "okay" she sighed rolling her eyes and walking away. Someone else who didnt want her around.

Tina sat in Maggie's room and flicked through one of her books. The group were downstairs talking, Tina couldnt hear what about, probably Randall. Lori came upstairs, Tina sunk down in the chair she did not feel like socialising right now "Tina...you okay? Did Shane yell at you?" She asked sympathetically, she must of seen her with him earlier "no, he is just pissed with Randall being here i think" she replied fed up. Lori took a breath and went to say something but stopped "Daryl told him to stay away from you" she finally revealed causing Tina to slam her book shut "what?!" She snapped widening her eyes "Rick did too, he isnt good to be around right now sweetie, he isnt himself" Lori explained trying to justify Rick and Daryl's decisions. "Well i dont need anyone making decisions for me" Tina replied with a sarcastic smile brushing past Lori and heading downstairs to find Daryl and Rick.

Coming downstairs she found the group had left the house and were standing by the barn "whats happened?" She called out as Lori closely followed "Randall got out!!" Carl called back, the fear evident in everyones eyes. "RIICCCKK!" Shane called as he emerged bloodied from the bushes as everyone turned to face him "little bastard got me, clocked me straight in the face...he got my piece!" Shane yelled to Rick "shall we just let him go? Wasnt that the plan anyway?" Tina asked naively "No..Glenn, Daryl you come with me and Shane the rest of you go in the house and lock the doors" Rick warned ushering them towards the house, Tina tried to look back at Daryl but he didnt even look her way.

Tina sat with TDog on the porch, waiting for the others to return, neither spoke, just waited with baited breath. Tina couldnt hide the relief on her face when Daryl and Glenn came back "Shane and Rick not back?" He asked looking straight to TDog "nah man" he shook his head. Walking inside to inform the others Tina stopped in her tracks when she heard two gun shots from the fields "most of found him" Lori remarked. Standing on the porch waiting for then to return everyone squinted to focus on the descending walkers heading to the farm house. "Shall we hide inside? Like the herd on the highway?" Tina asked "not unless there is a secret tunnel i dont know about!" Daryl snapped. Hershel and Glenn came out with the guns when Hershel made it clear he wasnt leaving his farm as everyone armed up. "Carl isnt in the house!" Lori cried from the doorway "we wont leave without him" a nervous Carol pulled her aside to reassure her. "Well its a good a night as any to take this place back" Daryl remarked leaping over the porch fence.

Glenn and Maggie used the cars with Tdog to drive the walkers away while Lori, Patricia and Beth helped load the cars up to leave. Seeing this was a shot in the dark Tina knew she had to get Hershel to leave but he wasnt prepared to give his farm up in such a way. Seeing TDog and Maggie drive off into the distance, fear and panic flew over Tina and she ran off the porch and to the exit of the farm, dodging walkers and firing aimlessly at the ones who she couldnt avoid, out if breath and backed up against the wall she was surrounded by walkers all eager to tuck into her. Screaming she took a walker down and realising she had no strength to do anymore, she nodded and accepted her fate. The roar of a motorcycle drew the walkers from her "come on aint got all day" Daryl barked at her as he pulled up alongside her. Tina dodged a walker and hopped onto his bike wrapping her arms around his waist as he sped her away from the fall of the farm.

Riding into the night Tina couldnt help think who came out alive as she rested her head on Daryl's back.

Emerging on the highway she was pleased to see Rick, Carl and Hershel just as Maggie and Glenn pulled up followed finally by TDog Lori and Beth. Hugging eachother with relief the group counted their losses. "Patricia?" Glenn asked to which Lori shook her head as Beth let a tear fall. "Shane?" Tina asked looking into the cars to see if he was in them. Rick didnt answer. "He didnt make it" he revealed. Daryl finally made eye contact with Tina and gave her a sympathetic look as she tried upset forming in her eyes. "We found Randall. His neck was broke. He had no bites or scratches" Daryl told the others "how is that possible" Glenn asked Rick. Rick sighed "we are all infected...doesnt matter however we die. We come back...Jenner told me" Rick explained as the group gasped. "Didnt think it was true until Shane" he added causing confused looks from the others "he set me up, Randall was killed by him to lure me out and kill me. I killed him" he explained further as Lori stormed off. Tina felt eyes on her and instantly faced the other way "i know you were friends" Carol said placing an arm around her.
