In The Dark

"You what? When?" Tina asked trying to stay calm "when the town got overrun, we got knocked off the road by these guys, lost my bike. Met up with them at a road block they tried to steal our weapons and kill us. I stabbed one guy and blew an RPG at the others, guess they thought it was the Hilltop guys that did it" Daryl revealed rather calmly. Tina shook her head in disbelief "why didnt you tell me? You told me your bike broke down!" Tina snapped before Daryl could answer she stood up "you still keep stuff like this from me like i'm a kid! Did you tell Sasha and Abraham to keep it from me? What am i a constant babysitter for you? What even are we?" Tina yelled before slamming the front door on him and storming upstairs.

Curling herself up on the duvet she tried her best to close her eyes but she was still pent up from Daryl's attitude to keeping things from her, she began feeling how she did growing up, always kept in the dark, always shunned away from "adult stuff".

"I didnt tell you because you were scared still from what happened here when we were trying to sort the herd out. You know i've never had anyone worry about me, i guess i forget" Daryl said softly lying down on the bed beside her. Tina smirked at his words "dont play that card Mr Dixon" she teased rolling round to face him "oh poor Daryl no one loves me" she said playfully tickling up his arm "shutup" he whispered rolling on top of her kissing her lips "promise to tell me everything from now on" she pleaded breaking the kiss. He nodded gently before placing his lips back onto hers.

"They want Gregory, how we going about that?" Glenn asked Rick as the group gathered at his to discuss how they were going to take down the Saviors in the safe house.

Rick nodded in assurance of himself "i thought of that, we find a walker that resembles him. Beat it a little, should work" Rick spoke not sounding fully confident in his plan but it was all he had "if its enough for them to drop their guard it will work" Daryl added.

"We leave later on" Rick said finishing up the meeting "get your heads down now" he added.

Driving along in the RV, Rick pulled up on a main road as they approached a group of walkers. He, Glenn and Daryl took them down while Abraham observed which ones would make a fitting ' Gregory' Tina figured that judging by the time they took looking at them it was clear it would be a harder task. Rick lifted one head and punched it a few times to at least make it look like they beat Gregory before killing him.

It was pitch black when they finally arrived at The Saviours spot, leaving the cars where they would not be noticed, Rick gave the bag with the head in to Craig from the Hilltop to take to them in exchange for his hostage brother.

Tina stood with Maggie along the perimeter as they watched the others hideout as Craig approached the two guards.

Watching Daryl slash one of the guards throat made Tina breathe in, she began seeing why Daryl keeps this secret from her, not that he has anything to be ashamed of, he is protecting them all, but she understood why he shut it out when he came home.

"Dont move" a woman's voice demanded nudging a gun on Tina's head while another placed one on Maggie's.

Tina made her eyes over to where the group were emerging after battling with The Saviours and after tackling one trying to escape on Daryl's bike held , him hostage. "Names?!" The woman demanded looking at Tina "T..Tina" she replied nervously as Maggie revealed hers. The woman holding onto Maggie spoke into a walkie talkie "put your weapons down....you with the colt python, lower your weapons now!" She demanded. "Come on out, we can talk" Rick replied, his voice crackling through the receiver "oh we'll talk. We have a Maggie and a Tina, i guess thats something you want to talk about" she finished. Tina watched Daryl try to pin point where they were and she wished she could catch his and the others attention but just then her and Maggie's coats were whipped over their heads and they were dragged off.

Hurling to the cold hard floor Tina tried to get her bearings as the bright lights hit her eyes after being covered.

"So you wanna explain what you are all doing here?" The redheaded woman spoke "you guys certainly dont look like you are from the weak little Hilltop" she added crouching beside Tina.

"Negan. We are looking for Negan" Tina revealed breathlessly "he is probably dead now" Maggie added, the woman and her companion laughed at Maggie's words "bitch, we are all Negan!" The companion said confusing the girls.

"You dont even know what you are doing do you?" The woman questioned "so you just thought you could take 'Negan' down and it will all be yours?" She added mockingly

The sliding doors slid open as two more came in, a man and a young woman. "Have you seen the walkers here? Were these guys not looking after it or were they just high?!" The young woman snapped.

"Should work out well, bit of insurance before their lot get here" the companion said smirking.

Bound and gagged, Tina and Maggie were truly trapped. Maggie made eyes at Tina as if to go along with her, just then Maggie began breathing fast, in and out, becoming more rapid with each breath. The woman and the man looked to eachother and then back to Maggie "she is having a panic attack" the man said l although not looking too concerned, as Maggie made it seem more dramatic, Tina worried this was going to fail before their eyes. The woman reluctantly untied Maggie and tried to calm her down as the companion and the young girl left the room to see if the group were on their way.

The man whipped Tina's gag from her mouth as the woman left Maggie ungagged "better?" The woman asked as Maggie 'composed' herself.

Being left unguarded Maggie swiped her legs and knocked over the man as the red headed woman tried to stop Maggie, all Tina could do was watch unable to help. The woman ran to call her team back for assistance as Maggie head butted the man knocking him out and ripping the tape of Tina and helping her up "we are getting out of here now" Maggie whispered frantically to Tina as they left the room.

Pacing down the hall they dodged walkers as best they could without their weapons trying to find the exit.

The redheaded woman came back surprised to see the two girls free, lunging in fury at Tina she shoved her against a wall, a wall that had walkers impaled to lose pipework, avoiding hits from the woman and now swipes and bites from the walkers. The young woman paced down tackling Maggie to the floor dropping her gun in the process. As Tina held her own against the woman she noticed Maggie wrestling with the young woman for the dropped gun. Raising her fist to the woman's face Tina kicked the gun closer to Maggie's reach and she fired on the young woman killing her instantly. While the woman fighting Tina was distracted , Tina pushed her away impaling her as an impaled walker took a chunk of flesh from her face.

Horrified at her actions Tina felt the adrenaline kick in and took Maggie's hand as they continued their escape. The sounds of footsteps froze Tina and Maggie as they tried to hear who it was "we going to kill these girls? Did Paula say?" They over heard one of them question as they walked. As they turned the corner Tina elbowed one in the face while Maggie shot the other, as the man fell to the ground Tina reached for his gun and shot him.

"Lets get out of here" Maggie sighed as they caught their breath and headed for the door. Swinging it open Maggie was relieved to see Glenn on the other side, as was he. As the group bounded in making sure the area was clear, Rick dragged in their hostage as Daryl ran up to Tina "heard the gunshots. Was that you?" He asked stroking her face as she had tears forming "you okay?" He asked concerned "no" she whimpered "come here" he replied quickly pulling her into his arms stroking her hair.

"Was Negan in this building or the other?" Rick snarled at the hostage as the others looked on "sorta" the bloodied hostage replied, Rick began showing his impatience "i'm Negan shithead" the hostage replied as Rick raised his gun and pulled the trigger, shooting him in the head.
