Tina put the two children to bed, she knew Rick wouldnt be back before Judith went to bed so was more than happy to have her stay over.
Tina was awoken by intensive knocking on the door, looking out the window she saw the group had returned as they walked slowly to their houses. "Daryl keep it down" she said half laughing, opening the door as his knocking would wake Judith and Poppy. Tina was almost knocked to the floor by the force of Daryl wrapping his arms around her "I missed you T" he kept whispering as he kissed her lips and all over her face "whats happened? where the hell have you been ive been so worried!" Tina quizzed him stopping his affection, but still keeping hold of his hand. Daryl looked to the ground, "whats happened?" She asked him again, he took her into the sitting room and sat her down.
"Daryl, you are scaring me now, all of these runs you are taking for days? There is more to it than what you are telling me isnt there?" Tina asked, she knew Daryl and the others were protecting their community but she knew there was more that met the eye to this. "Abraham is, he is..." Daryl started "we ran into some trouble, I got shot by that asshole Dwight--" "Shot?!?" Tina exclaimed, interrupting Daryl in the process "im fine, im fine." He tried to reassure her "we were on our way back when Dwight and some of the saviours came out, must of been pissed that we ambushed their place, Denise, she got shot, she's dead" Daryl paused and watched Tina place her hand over her mouth as she listened. "Me, Rosita and Glenn were in the back of this truck, Negan, he caught Rick and the rest and then took us out, lined us up like cattle." Daryl paused and stood up and paced the sitting room "he said he had to even it out for killing all his men, half of our shit is now theirs" He continued, Tina was confused "we kill his men and to make it square we have to give him our supplies?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, this was not what was bothering Daryl. "He killed Abraham, beat him to shit with a bat" Daryl revealed, Tina became tearful as Daryl pulled her into his chest. "Why would he do that?" She kept asking through sobs.

After bringing his body back home, Abraham was buried in the enclosure of Alexandria, everyone was upset, Rosita mainly eventhough they had split up she still had love for him. Rick couldn't speak, he was too consumed with guilt over how things panned out and he felt responsible. Everyone just comforted eachother and prepared for the changes they would have to make for The Saviors.
"Lets go home" Daryl mumbled as the service wrapped up, Tina who hadnt removed her head from his shoulder looked up to him "I just want to cuddle my two girls and forget the world for a minute" he added, strengthening his hold on her.

Sighing, Daryl placed his arm above his head as he laid down on the bed, Tina tucked Poppy in as she snuffled around in her moses basket. "Whats going to happen Daryl?" Tina asked the question that had been burning inside her since he got back. He sighed again. Breathing out Tina flopped herself down on the bed beside him and he immediately wrapped himself across her body "i wish i knew" he eventually answered, Tina wiped tears that were slowly filling her eyes, trying to be discreet so he wouldnt notice, but he did "hey, dont be like that" he whispered, crawling up beside her to her eye line "we will get through this, we've got through worse" he tried to reassure her as he wiped her face with his thumb. "This Negan guy, he means business Daryl, he murdered Abraham in front of you guys to show us all who is boss now" Tina argued in a whimper sitting up pushing him off her "he aint shit Tina!" Daryl replied angrily, following her in sitting up, Tina looked to him and as much as she didnt doubt his words she was still terrified, more so than she had been when The Governor was threatening the group. Pushing her hair from her face, Daryl knelt on the floor between her knees "i promise you he wont hurt any of us, not if I have my way" he spoke confidently.
"Why what are you going to do?" She asked looking down towards him
He paused for a moment
"Im going to kill him" he replied.
