Matt pov:
We got back to the firehouse. All I could think about was that gun to gabby's head. Second day in a row. All I could think about was gabby telling that crazy maniac to shoot her. Right there infront of everyone.. Everyone thought gabby was brave for doing that but i thought she was stupid. She could have gotten herself killed. That guy could have killed her for her careless act.
The ambo got back, everyone greeted them and I could just tell something was wrong with gabby. I followed her as she went into the kitchen area.
Matt: gabby?
She turned around
Gabby; before you ask, I am fine.
Matt: no you're not fine. I know you better then I know anyone. You're not fine gabby.
Gabby: I am. God matt.
She takes a deep breath and turns around and grabbed a cup of coffee for herself.
Matt: okay, then if you're so fine. What the hell were you thinking, telling that guy to shoot you?
Gabby: I don't know Matt.
Matt: That was two days in a row you had a gun pointed to your head and I was scared to death. What if he shot you. What if he killed you.
Gabby: but he didn't.
Matt: but he could of. He could of gabby.
Gabby: then if he did he did, how many people died already. Andy, jones.... Shay -I started getting chocked up- what's one more right.
Tears fell from my face
Matt looked at me.
Matt: don't say that...gabby... Don't you dare say that.   I CARE. WE ALL CARE. THIS HOUSE CARES. WHAT YOU DID OUT THERE WAS STUPID AND SELFISH. YOU WERE THE COWARD NOT HIM.YIU COULD HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF KILLED.
Gabby looked at me with a shocked face. she put her coffee down on the counter
Matt: wait gabby I didn't mea-
Gabby; I know exactly what you meant.
and walked out of the room,
the guys started coming in they heard the yelling and everything. Great, I thought to myself. I slammed my fist down into the counter
Matt: GOD DAMNIT
Herman: hey Casey calm down
and I walked into the meeting room and sat at the table to think.

Gabby pov:
how could he have said what he said to me, what he said really hurt.. I know he cares and he was worried but honestly I don't think I care. I'm so tired of losing everyone around me. I walked into the bathroom, I splashed cold water on my face
It was coming close to the end of shift. I wanted to get out of here so badly. I walked into the locker room and saw Herman there!
Herman: Molly's tonight?
Gabby: yea sure.
I got changed and walked out and saw Matt there, I looked over at him and shut my locker.
Matt: I didn't mean what-
Gabby: Matt it's all good, it's fine it's whatever okay..
I walked out down the hallway and I turned back to see Matt still staring at me.
I thought to myself, well great, there goes the only thing that keep me sane.

Matt pov:
Gabby was going to Molly's, I needed to find Severide. I told chief id have him back by next shift. He always had this cabin that he would go to. I drove up to it and bingo, severide was out in the front chopping wood.
Matt: hey man
Severide: hey Matt
Kelly handed me a beer and we talked for what seemed like forever. I finally got him to agree he would come back next shift.
Matt: the guys and chief are really worried about you Kelly. We really can't lose another one of ours.. We need to stick together
Severide: alright alright I'll be back next shift Matt, but I don't think I'm ready to go back to mine and shays place.
Matt: hey you can stay with me at my place, I have an extra room.
Severide: thanks Matt..
I nodded, i put the beer down and hopped in my truck. I headed to Molly's, I walked inside and all of 51 was there. I walked to chief and told him about Severide and I told squad about him. I sat down at the bar by mouch and Boden. I looked over and saw gabby talking to Antonio, jay and Erin, mills and Herman. I wanted to get up and walk over there to talk to her, but I didn't want to ruin the night. She looked happy for once. I'd let her me. Otis came up and gave me a beer
Casey: thanks man
I drank it and decided to hit the road and go back to my place.

Gabby pov:
I saw Matt get up an walk out of Molly's. I wanted to talk to him but I didn't want to bother at the same time. I just focused on what everyone was talking about.
Couple hours later we started to close up, Antonio gave me a ride back to my place.
Walking in and no one being there was just weird. I hated being alone, especially at night. Especially now with my head where it is.
I grabbed my phone, I wanted to call Matt. Was I the weak one for doing that then. I mean what happened at work was stupid. I just wanted him here with me.
I called matts cellphone it was late, I was hoping he wasn't asleep.
There was no answer, he was probably sleeping. I just didn't want to be alone.
The morning came quick. It was time to get ready for shift. The whole house was so quiet.
I threw on jeans and sweatshirt I asked Herman if he could pick me up he agreed. I finished getting ready and walked downstairs to Herman's car.
Herman: still in it with Casey?
I nodded,
Gabby: I guess so.
Herman: you guys will be okay.
We got to the firehouse! I saw matts truck was already here. I wanted to find him and talk to him, but does he even want to see me?
Herman and I walked up to the firehouse we saw all the guys standing in the apparatus floor, I then noticed severide was back.
I put my bags down and walked over to him, hugged him tightly.
Gabby: hey Kelly
Kelly: hey gabby
He hugged me back and everyone just came around and started talking to severide, so I kind of backed away and walked into the house.

Matt pov:
I brought severide to the house a little earlier. Squad walked up to us and hugged him and patted me on the bak for finding him.
I then saw gabby walk up with Herman, she walked in an saw Severide and walked right to him and hugged him. I smiled and then I saw her walk around me into the house
Boden: Its great to have you back Kelly!
He patted Kelly on the back.
Everyone went to the locker rooms to change out. Everyone got changed and I walked into the kitchen area and saw gabby sitting there reading. I sat down next to her
Matt: hey
I hit her leg playfully I saw her crack a smile.
Matt: can we talk gabby?
She put her book down and looked at me. She got up and walked into the meeting room and I followed her.
She sat down on the table and I walked over to her.
Matt: I didn't mean what I said to you. I was just angry and scared..
Gabby: I know I'm sorry Matt. I didn't mean to say what I said either.
Matt: it's okay, hey you are so strong, the strongest person I know.
Gabby: I know that. And I know that you care. I know that everyone cares. I was just mad. I was scared to
Matt: I know baby. I know and I really didn't mean to tell you you were selfish and the coward. Because you weren't. I was the selfish and coward for saying that to you. You did what you had to, but you really did have me worried about you.
Gabby: I'm so sorry Matt.

Gabby pov:
Gabby: I know Matt I'm sorry.
Matt pulled me into a hug and I rested my head on his shoulder.
Matt: I love you so much gabby

I kissed his shoulder and rested my head back on it, couple seconds later I looked at him.
Gabby: ask me again Matt
Matt: What
He looked at me confused
Gabby: ask me to marry you again.
Matt: but i-
Gabby: have that a memory of that day? the worst day of my life. No thanks.
Matt: hey hey, okay I will but I want to do it right.

I kissed Matt and then the alarm went off.
AMBO 61 TRUCK 81 SQUAD 3 MULTI CAR PILE UP CORNER OF SAMSON AND 8TH.
Everyone hopped in the trucks and mills and I hopped in ambo. We finally arrived to scene to see two cars hit head on, one car hit a pole and the other side swiped one other car. I immediately ran to the car that hit the pole while mills ran to the two car collision.
I reached my hand in to take his pulse.
Gabby: THIS GUY HAS A WEAK PULSE, WE NEED TO GET HIM OUT AND GET HIM TO THE HOSPITAL NOW.
As I was saying that I heard him mumble something.
Guy: my son my son
I looked in the backseat and saw a little boy unconscious.
Gabby: Casey, there's a little boy in the back seat, we need to get them out
Herman: we need to get them out now before the whole car catches on fire.
Matt: the hole is to small we need to cut the top off
Herman; were not going to have enough time for that.
Gabby: chief, let me crawl in there I can get the kid out
Casey: no
Gabby: chief? no one else will be able to get in there, I'm small enough.
Chief: go go quick.
I looked at Casey.
Casey: be quick.
He put my helmet on my head and gave me a pair of pliers
Gabby: I will.
Matt: cut the seat belt and guide him out towards us.
I nodded
I crawled in the back seat his seat belt was stuck I kept pulling on it and it wasn't moving. The front of the car caught on fire, I hovered over the kid thankfully the guys got the fire out quick.
Chief: Dawson hurry up.
I cut the buckle and I finally got it unbuckled. I grabbed the kid and handed him to mills who was waiting for him. The car caught on fire again and I ducked down. Otis and Cruz got it out quickly and I then leaned out of the car and Herman and mouch grabbed me. Right on time to because then the car flew up in flames and it didn't look like it was going out any time soon.
Casey: you okay?
Dawson: I'm okay, I'm good.
I showed him a reassuring smile.
Chief: nice work dawson!
Dawson: thanks chief.
Mills: we got to get them to med now.
I ran over to the ambo and hopped in while mills drove we got then to ambo and they were going to be okay.
We got back to the firehouse and I hopped out of the ambo. I walked in the house looking for matt
