Gabby pov: (next morning)
I woke up and checked my phone to see if Matt or anyone has called me and nothing.. I sighed. I tried calling Matt again but no answer. I got up and walked downstairs. Brett was up but Megan was still sleeping. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a cup of coffee and Brett walked into the kitchen.
Gabby: have you talked to Kelly or Matt or anyone lately?
Brett shook her head
Brett: why?
Gabby: Matt said he would call me but nothing, I called him, left him voicemails, text messages but nothing.
Brett: did you try Kelly?
I shook my head and looked at her.
Brett: I'll try Kelly. Wake Megan up and we can go out for breakfast or something she smiled
I nodded and walked into the living room to wake Megan up
•Kelly and Brett convo•
Kelly: hello?
He sounded annoyed
Brett: hey it's Brett
Kelly: hi
Brett: you guys good?
Kelly: no.
Brett: you sound so drunk Kelly
She laughed
Kelly: we kind of are
Brett: is Matt good?gabby been trying to reach him but got nothing she's worried..
Kelly: yea he's good, passed out but good
Brett: okay, I'll tell gabby thanks Kelly
Kelly: uhm.
He hung up and Brett couldn't help but laugh•••••
I walked back into the kitchen and Brett was laughing
Gabby: anything?
Brett: they were drunk as hell, Kelly sounds piss drunk and apparently Matt was passed out. No wonder why you haven't heard anything
She laughed an I smiled
We ended up getting ready and going to the diner.

Matt pov:
The sun from the window was shining in through the window, it was bright, to bright. I looked around, I had no idea where I was. I looked next to me and there was this blonde chick laying there asleep. I threw the sheets off of myself put my pants on and walked out of the room, I saw Kelly and this other girl making out. I put my shirt and shoes on looked at Kelly and walked out the door.
I felt Kelly stop me once I reached the side walk.
Matt: please tell me what I think happened last night didn't happen.
He looked at me with a funny expression
Kelly: what do you think happened..
Matt: we got piss drunk and went back to these girls apartment and slept with them.
Kelly: that is what basically happened.
Matt: ughhhh Kelly..
I wrapped my arms around my head and punched the wall that I was standing next to gently.
Kelly: oh and Brett called me, told me gabby was trying to call you but couldn't get through.
He looked at me and then started making out with this girl again.
Matt; gabby.
I thought to myself and then looked up
Matt: what am I going to tell gabby
Kelly pulled away and looked at me.
Kelly: she doesn't have to know. Why would you tell her?
Matt: you think I shouldn't tell her?
I bit my lip.
Kelly: nah man, it was a guys night out what do you expect to happen.
I nodded annoyingly.
Matt: can we head home, I don't want to stay here any longer then we have to
I giggled
Kelly nodded
Kelly: let me grab my stuff then we can go
I nodded, Kelly ran back inside. He grabbed his stuff and we headed back to my place. Kelly dropped me off and then left.
I texted gabby.
"Hey babe, sorry about not texting you. I got really drunk but I'm home now probably going to sleep, come by later"
"It okay, not big deal. Hope you had fun and yea probably, sure! See you later:)"
I smiled to myself and once I laid my head down on my pillow I was out like a light.

Gabby pov:
I was kind of relieved when I got the text message from Matt, knowing he was actually safe. I smiled to myself and finished enjoying my breakfast with Brett and Megan. Once we were done eating we went back to my place and helped Megan packed and then drove to the air port and dropped her off. We said goodbye and then I dropped Brett off at her place and went back home and packed a bag and headed to matts place. I snuck in, locked the front door behind me and snuck into his bed, he jumped and then realized it was me and smiled, he kissed me.
Matt: hey babe, I missed you.
Gabby: you're still drunk
I laughed
Matt: probably
Gabby: and you smell horrible
Matt: I feel horrible
He laughed
Gabby: go back to sleep it's getting late.
I kissed him, I didn't have to tell him again he was out like a light.

Gabby pov:
I woke up from my alarm going off on my phone. I fell asleep at matts place and I laughed and thought to myself. I heard his shower going, I'm guessing Matt was in there. I looked at my phone it was 7;34, I started getting dressed in the cloths I brought in my bag and matts phone went off, I ignored it and kept getting ready and then it went off a couple more times and then constantly with text messages flowing in. I needed it to shut up, it was to early for this. I thought to myself.
I walked over to the side of the bed and went to turn it off when I accidentally opened a message.
Random number: great night the other night, totally should do it again, sorry I missed you in the morning.
Wait what, I thought to myself.
I opened another one that came in
Same number: hope you're not ignoring me, I had fun, hope to see you again soon babe ;)
I then froze, my heart sank to my stomach. I sat down on the side of the bed and it felt like I was about to throw up.
no no no no please tell me that, that didn't just happen. I heard the water stopping in the bathroom and then the door opened slowly
Matt: hey morning babe...
He looked at me and then walked closer
Matt: you okay?
I lifted up his phone I had in my hand to the message I just read.
Gabby: your phone was going on and I went to turn it off and I accidentally opened one and then saw these.
I looked up with an expressionless face and I stood up.
Matt: I can explain
Gabby: save it Matt.. I'm just going to go.....
Matt: gabby wait.
Matt: I'll see you at work Matt.
I grabbed my bags and my keys and my jacket and walked out to my car and drove off. I didn't know where I was driving but i couldn't be there anymore. I pulled over to the side of the road and grabbed my phone, I tried calling Brett but she didn't answer. I texted her no reply. Matt kept trying to call me and he texted me. I couldn't deal with it. I turned my phone off an sat in my car and cried into my own arms.
I feel like I just lost the only person I could truly trust. My heart felt like it was broken. My stomach was in a complete knot. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't even move. I looked at the clock and it was 8:30 It was getting later, I need to get to work.

Matt pov:
Matt: GOD FUCKING DAMNIT.
I chucked my phone across the room after texting and calling gabby but got no answer.. I looked at the clock, I need to get ready. I can't be late again. I got dressed fast and grabbed my coffee and headed out to my truck and left.

Gabby pov:
I got to work and walked into the firehouse, not looking or talking to anyone. I walked right passed everyone straight to the locker room. I opened my locker and sat down on the bench and held my head in my hands. I heard footsteps walking in and looked up, it was Brett
Brett; hey Herman told me he saw you you walk in here, I just saw your text message an-
She looked at me
Brett: gabby what happened?
Gabby: I don't know i-
She sat down next to me and I cried into her shoulder, I finally calmed myself somewhat down.
I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror in my locker and wiped my face. I took a deep breath.
Capp peaked his head in
Capp: role call in 5
Brett and I nodded and then heard footsteps walking in, I looked up and it was Matt. I shut my locker and looked at Matt.
Matt: gabby....
Brett: come on gab
She held her hand out
I grabbed her hand and stepped over the bench and walked with Brett out of the locker room.
