Aphmau opened her eyes and got up off her bed. She walked over to the window and looked down upon her kingdom. Angels were bustling about, tending to their daily duties without hesitation, carefully following society rules-all 753 of them. Aphmau sighed and got dressed.
"Aphmau?" There was a sharp knock on Aphmau's bedroom door. "Are you awake yet or do I need to come in and knock some sense in ya?"
"I'm awake. I'm awake." Aphmau said, shaking her wings. She walked over to the door and opened it.
Katelyn, Aphmau's personal bodyguard and BFF, was standing at attention outside Aphmau's door.
"What do you need me for now?" Aphmau asked with a bored sigh.
"Prince Levin has another suitor for you." Katelyn said, sounding annoyed.
"Another one?" Aphmau asked in exasperation. "How many more NobleWings are left?"
"This one's a GuardWing. There aren't that many suitable NobleWings left." Katelyn said, shaking her own silver wings. Katelyn, being a Silver GuardWing, was one of the noble few who protected the royal siblings, along with Nicole, Levin's guard.
Aphmau groaned. She tucked her wings into a more comfortable position and followed Katelyn to the lower front balcony of her castle.
Standing out on the balcony was Prince Levin, Nicole, and two unfamiliar angels. Aphmau glided over, just to show off her wings.
"Aphmau! This is Garroth, heir of Drake the EliteWing. And this is Malachi, his GrayWing." Levin said. Nicole nodded.
Garroth and Malachi both bowed their heads in respect as Aphmau approached.
Aphmau nodded to acknowledge their presence. Garroth raised his head, staring into Aphmau's eyes with his blue ones. "I'm glad I got to meet you, Princess Aphmau, heir to the RoyalWing Throne." Garroth said with a snobby edge to his voice.
Aphmau glared at him before bowing slightly and spreading her wings wide. Turning around Aphmau flew off without so much as a hmph.
Katelyn glared at Garroth. "Don't get any ideas. Aphmau's already been through forty-two suitors." Then she, too, flew off, following Aphmau.
"What a snob!" Katelyn said, giggling as she flew by Aphmau's side.
"Did you see the way he looked at me? Did you hear the bitter way he said my name?" Aphmau asked angrily. "He probably thinks he's better than me!"
Katelyn laughed a little. "Well, RoyalWings aren't supposed to be able to fight. It's stupid but true."
"Good thing I know how!" Aphmau laughed as she spiraled through the skies with Katelyn.
Aphmau landed in a secluded area. Looking around, she grabbed the sword she hid there earlier. "Alright." She said, facing Katelyn. "Let's do this."

Zane stood on the edge of the broken bridge, looking out across a huge lava ocean towards the broken Nether portal.
"Zane..."
Zane jumped at the sound of Vylad's voice. "Yes?" He mumbled without taking his eyes off the portal.
"Laurance is raging. What did you do?" Vylad asked. Laurance, caretaker and mentor of the Royal bloodline, was terrifying on his own, but when he went into one of his famous rants, well...
"I may or may not have ignored him in class earlier today." Zane said, flexing his wings just in case.
"Oh. I guess Laurance is having a really bad day, 'cause this rant is an all-out redtail." Vylad said, flexing his wings as well. Zane shuddered.
"What do you think is making his day so miserable?" Vylad asked. Zane turned around and stared at Vylad.
"Almost anything. But I bet it's got something to do with our older brother. He's been on this "mission" for a while. Probably just sent in bad news." Zane speculated.
Vylad nodded.
Crash!
"AAARRRRRRGH! RAAWWWR! YEEAAAARRRRGH! RAAWWWRGH! YEEERGH! RAAWWWR! ZANE! VYLAD! GET YOUR TAILS OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!"
Zane froze in fear. He turned and looked at Vylad. "I thought you said it was a full redtail."
Vylad looked back at Zane. "It was a full redtail when I checked. It must've gone all the way up to whitetail."
The sounds of Laurance's ragefest came closer.
"RUN!" Vylad roared. Zane did not hesitate, spreading his wings and flying over to a small patch of soulsand in the lava lake. Vylad followed, landing on the same patch.
Laurance appeared on the balcony. He saw Zane and Vylad out of his reach, and went into full-on blacktail, steam shooting out his ears, his face red as a tomato, his anger almost godlike, speaking in the ancient language of swear while simultaneously smashing anything within arm's reach, with an added anime-style fire aura surrounding him. Other demons, who were attracted to the scene by all the screams and swear words, busted out the popcorn and began to watch as Laurance raged. Laurance however, tired out pretty quickly and began to tone it down to whitetail, then redtail, then his normal rantage. Demon spectators, dissapointed at the lack of carnage, grumbled and ran or flew off. Except for one.
Michi, an imp, stared at Zane with obvious interest. She flapped her imp wings, flicked her tail, and flew off.
Zane looked up at Laurance. Laurance was steaming, but too tired and proud to call in a squadron of imps to get the young princes. He glowered at them before going back inside to clean up his mess.
Zane and Vylad just sat there. They were not going to move a single inch for quite a while.
