"Kitty."

Michi immediately froze up when Tarik, the head bandit, called her that. Memories rushed in.

Michi was back in the Nether, talking to Zane. Sasha, Gene, and Zenix had them cornered.

Zenix dashed over and wrapped his wings around her shoulders, put his claws on her hips, and pulled her in close by wrapping his tail around her back. "C'mon, Kitty." He hissed.

Michi felt rage building up inside her. This man ambushed her and her friends, treated her like an item, and now he had the nerve to call her Kitty?!

Michi gave a very low hiss. Her hands were free, so she didn't hesitate to scar his face with her claws. Tarik dropped Michi and stumbled back, clutching his bleeding face in his hand. Michi sensed the anger, the fury radiating off of the other bandits, which began to close in.

Tarik, now standing again, looked down at Michi. Even with most of her dignity crushed, Michi remained defiant, glaring sharply up at the head bandit. He laughed.

"This kitty's got claws, eh? I like it. Very suiting for a bandit's bride!" Tarik roared with laughter. The other bandits joined in on the laughter.

Michi stood up. Tarik pushed her down. She glared at him, her tail lashing back and forth. A low growl escaped her throat.

Tarik laughed harder before grabbing Michi and carrying her over his shoulder like a sack of beetroot. He signaled to the other bandits, who grabbed the sleeping Zane and Vylad and began to drag them along.

Once back at the bandit camp, the few bandits who had been hurting the camp cheered at their leader's triumphant return.

After setting Michi down, Tarik began to bark out orders, but Michi wasn't listening. She was fuming. Another bandit came by and tied her arms and legs.

"What should we do with these two?" A bandit asked, pointing towards Zane and Vylad, who-at this point-were obviously under some kind of sleeping spell.

Michi glared at Tarik. "I don't care what you do to me, but if you so much as bruise them, I swear that on my honor, I will make your life a living hell."

Tarik laughed and told the bandit to put the two prisoners into a cell. The bandit nodded and dragged Zane and Vylad off somewhere. Tarik barked out more orders, and some female bandits came by and dragged Michi off. She did her best to make it difficult, but they eventually managed to drag her over to a small hut.

Inside, a small chair, a few dresses, and a bucket of water waited. Michi hissed with displeasure.

The first thing the bandits did was pull off all of Michi's clothes, and untie her bindings. Michi, as peeved as she was, maintained her Meif'wa illusion, keeping her wings tucked in close. She had to wait for the right moment.

It's a good thing Michi's wings were tucked in tight, because the shock of being dunked into a large tub of cold water short-circuited her Meif'wa illusion for a short moment. The bandit girls didn't notice, though, and proceeded to give Michi a bath, dumping water over her to rinse away the dirt. The whole time, Michi hissed and yowled and kicked and struggled, and by the time it was over, the bandits were just as wet as Michi.

After the bath, the bandits dried Michi off and forced her into a dress. They did her hair and tied her wrists, then dragged her from the hut to an area in the clearing where the bandits were waiting. Zane and Vylad, awake but still tied up, looked at Michi. She flicked her tail, signalling for them to wait.

Michi was forcefully dragged up the isle towards Tarik, who grabbed her wrists, conveniently covering the bindings that held her wrists together. She glared at him.

A priest, who looked as if he had been a prisoner for days, nervously began to read the vows. Tarik spoke when prompted. "I do." He said meanly. Both the priest and Tarik looked at Michi expectantly.

"I don't." She said, a sinister smile growing on her face. That was the signal.

In one fluid movement, Zane and Vylad flared their wings, breaking the ropes that bound them. They took to the air and dive-bombed various bandits, who were now running all over, completely disorganized. Michi turned off her illusion, spreading her wings wide.

Michi smiled at the shocked look on Tarik's face. She pulled her claws away and broke the cord on her wrists easily. She hissed, took to the air, and dive-bombed Tarik, yowling.

"Don't you ever call me Kitty again!"

Afterwards, it didn't take the trio long to round up and tie up every single bandit, and they quickly delivered each and every one of the bandits to the village, all tied up and ready to be locked up.

All in all, they completed the task and collected the reward with ease.

Now, as they flew past the mountain, all Michi could feel was joy and adrenaline.
