"Oooh. Can I?" Sasha said, her tail lashing. She looked towards the figure in the throne, whose eyes somehow glowed a bright red.

"Of course. But only Zane. I may have a use for the others." The hellhound replied.

"Yeyas. Guess I'll get to have my fun today. Ahuhuhu." Sasha said, drawing her sword. Like any villain, she stalked out the room, her hooves clicking on the tile.

"So this is the place?" Zane asked, staring at a huge tower.

"Yep. Malachi said this is where Lucinda lives." Vylad confirmed, stepping forwards. He knocked on the door.

Thunk!

Bang!

Crash!

"Coming!"

Creak...

"Hello! How may I help... you? Come in, quickly!"

Zane, Aphmau, Vylad, Michi, Emmalyn and Katelyn were yanked into the house, and stared at their host.

A succubus, with long, orange hair, wearing a black, pointy hat and a violet, revealing dress.

"Lucinda?" Vylad asked.

The witch nodded (various cheers, wolf whistles, and applause). "Yep. You're here about a magic that can command a person's intentions, aren't you?"

Vylad nodded.

Lucinda sighed. "Guess I should probably explain. A long time ago, I was involved in some... bad things. Apparently, this demon-well, hellhound-got some kind of dirt on me."

"So, basically, you were blackmailed? By who?" Zane asked.

"Hmmm... Can't say I caught his name, but he was a hellhound, and lived in the fortress. I think. I'm not certain." Lucinda said.

Every single hair on the back of Zane's neck stood up. "W-what?" He asked, trembling. He had an idea of who Lucinda was referring to, and he hated it.

"Is something wrong?" Michi asked, putting her hand on Zane's shoulder.

Zane calmed himself. "No. Nothing's wrong." Turning to Lucinda, he said, "Thanks for the help."

"Is there a way to cure or undo this magic?" Katelyn asked.

Lucinda shook her head. "No. You'd have to kill the user to break the spell."

Everyone, for some unspoken reason, turned their attention towards Zane, who stared down at his claws, his eyes hidden all anime-style.

No response.

"Okay..." Aphmau said, breaking the silence. "So we just kill the user? Is that all? Or do we have to stand on our wings and break the realm barrier, too? 'Cause I'm really confused here."

"Your sarcasm is appreciated, but there may be another way." Lucinda said, grabbing a few ingredients and such, "If you can splash the user with this, you can disable the magic by knocking them out." She handed Katelyn a colorful potion.

Again, everyone, for some unspoken reason, turned and stared at Zane. And again, he was unresponsive, giving nothing away.

Katelyn nodded, but Emmalyn suddenly stood up. "If I may, can I ask you something?"

Lucinda nodded.

"How'd you know why we were here?"

Lucinda smiled. "When a portal opens in the Nether, it isn't long before any demon with the right magicks senses it, honey. Although, I do have a request to ask of you."

"And that would be...?" Michi asked, wary of this witch.

"Can I... Can I come with? I've always wanted to see the Overworld. Lots of demons have, actually." Lucinda requested.

"Sure. Why not?" Zane agreed, cold as ice. His eyes were still hidden in shadow, and he was stiller than a statue.

Everyone stared wide-eyed at Zane, who remained as still as a terrified mouse caught in the sharp gaze of the predator.

No response.

"Well, I don't see why not." Emmalyn pointed out, breaking the glacier of silence.

Slowly, as if they had just been unfrozen, everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

It was decided.

Sasha watched as the group exited Lucinda's house, with the witch in tow.

She smiled evilly. "That hellhound is gonna love hearing this." She said to herself as she whipped out a magic orb and began to record.

The big double doors opened with a loud groan as Sasha entered the room. Her cloven hooves clicked neatly on the tile as she walked all loyal-minion-villain-style towards the throne.

Stopping just a few blocks away, Sasha got down on one knee-as if she was about to propose-and bowed, her head lowered as she waited.

"Speak." The voice came from the throne. Looking at the throne, oneself would notice how the demon there sat all reclined-villain style, his red armour glinting in the light flooding in from the door, his face concealed in shadow still.

"I saw the target, and found out something very interesting. I figured you'd want to know." Sasha said as she slowly rose to her hooves, standing upright. She pulled out a magic orb, and tossed it to her boss.

"What? You saw the target but didn't make a move?" The hellhound shifted position, now sitting upright. Sasha could feel his judgemental gaze boring into her, but she stood strong.

"Just watch. I'm sure you'll enjoy it."

The hellhound sighed, and, holding the orb, lazily pressed PLAY.
