There were only two entries-don't know why I expected more-so I combined them both.
The first half is by SirTurtleLord, and it's in his book From the Land of Draconem. You should definetly check the book out.
One word came to his head. Aphmau. Over and Over. Like it was a drug. It became addicting to say, but his voice was so quiet only he could hear. He just lay there, his dark wings wrapped around him.
He didn't remember how he got them, or who he was for that matter, but he remembered one other word; Aaron. He didn't like that one quite as much. He held a certain spite for it, like it held a weight he didn't want to be burdened with. Almost like... he felt it was guilty.
He wasn't sure how many hours he lay there, but eventually he stood up. He felt a cloak-like hoodie around his shoulders and a bandanna in his hand. Looking around, he saw several other figures by a fire. One had silver feathered wings and powder blue hair, another had gentle blonde hair and small, white wings that fluttered every so often. Another figure, this one with a larger frame, had similar wings to his, black and feathery. Restlessly fidgeting beside that one was a slightly smaller one, with bat-like wings splayed behind them.
He sat down, looking to his right. There was a light on the horizon, the glowing sun heaving up just as the fire died. In the golden glow of the sunrise, he saw the beautiful creature beside him.
Facing him was a woman, her honey kissed skin unblemished and tanned. She had straight, raven-black hair and two large, shimmery white feathered wings that caught and reflected the sun's rays. A calming aura seemed to surround her as she peacefully dozed right next to him, her golden horns catching the sunlight.
A single word formed on his lips, and as he spoke, it felt right, as though the whole world made sense. "Aphmau?"
Her eyes fluttered open, revealing the gentle golden-hazel hues as she gazed deep into his dark eyes. "Aaron!" She silently gasped, surprise mixing with pleasure in both her voice and expression.
He winced at the sound of the word, he despised it. "Don't say that..." He managed to whisper.
"What, Aaron?"
"Yeah, that."
"But... that's your name."
Aaron's eyes widened. His... name? Why did he hold so much spite for his name? What had he done to make him hate himself?
Aaron was brought from his thoughts by a familiar warmth that wrapped around him. He looked down and saw Aphmau hugging him gently, her shimmery wings wrapped around him. He was sure this had never happened before, but then again, he didn't remember anything prior to waking up. Acting on instinct, Aaron wrapped his arms around Aphmau and caressed the space between her wings. What on earth was happening?
The second part of this chapter is by Emily_Carlson13, in her book, Love In The Darkness. It's a pretty nice little Zanemau story.
Enjoy!
"Oh, what a tragic turn of events! Don't tell me Aphmau, the Grand Princess of the Angels, fell in love with a mortal! How hilarious!"
Everyone was immediately alert. Aphmau pulled away from Aaron, drawing her sword. Aaron, sensing danger, drew his sword as well. Garroth, his sword drawn, stepped out from between the trees. Aphmau fell back. She swore the portal was destroyed. Garroth must've had the materials to make another.

FanfictionNOTICE: Bloody Dawn is getting a rewrite. I'm finding myself increasingly dissatisfied by various issues and story elements in this story, so I'm planning a rewrite. Some things will not change much, other things will be overhauled/removed entirely...
