"No! Dammit, they won again!"

"New game?" Aphmau asked while Katelyn raged.

Michi and Zane nodded. "New game."

"Okay." Aphmau handed the ball to Katelyn. It was her starting serve.

"Alrighty." Vylad said, acting as the referee. "Here, on this side we have Zane and Michi. On this other side, we have Aphmau and Katelyn. Could you reread the rules for us, Emmalyn?"

Emmalyn nodded. "Okay. Angels will serve first. The first team to thirteen points wins, and we all know the boundaries. Also, if the ball lands on a boundary line, it is in. No magicks, no trash talk, playing dirty, and no rule breaking. Other than that, have fun."

Everyone nodded politely while Zane and Aphmau shook on it.

"Okay." Vylad said, backing away while everyone on the playing field got ready for Katelyn's serve, "Three... Two... One... MATCH START!"

Katelyn served the ball. Hard. Zane jumped up and returned it using his wing, only for Aphmau to fly up a little and pound the ball, sending it flying towards Michi.

While those four were playing the game, Vylad and Emmalyn found a shady spot to sit in.

Phweeeeeeeee!

"Foul." Emmalyn said, her nose in a book.

"You're not even paying attention!" Katelyn protested. Emmalyn looked up.

"You fouled, plain and simple. I may not have been able to see it, but I could certainly hear it." Emmalyn said calmly. "You know head shots are against the rules. Foul."

"Michi said she saw something! She said she was distracted!" Katelyn continued to protest in earnest now.

"When a demon is curious, their tail fwips back and forth like crazy. I didn't hear any tail-fwipping. And if Michi did see something, you should've recognized the signs and backed off. You still foul."

"I guess... Katelyn really needs to get her head in the game." Aphmau punned, making everyone shake their head and groan. Even Michi.

"See? Michi was able to groan at Aph's pun! She's fine!" Katelyn tried one more time.

Emmalyn stared Katelyn down. "Katelyn, if Michi was in a coma she'd groan at Aphmau's puns. Everyone does that!"

Katelyn was an okay sport. She knew she was defeated. While Zane and Aphmau took down the net, Katelyn wandered over to a quiet area at the edge of the clearing to think, clear her mind, and to reflect.

"This is the place?"

"Yep."

"You're absitively posolutely sure?"

"Yep. I can smell those cupcakes from miles away." Zane said as he knocked on the door. After a few sounds of someone crashing around, the door was opened.

In the doorway stood a blue-haired Meif'wa child who stared up at Zane, recognition in her beaming expression.

"Nekoette!" Zane said as Nekoette jumped up and gave Zane a nice large hug (fanart of demon Zane hugging Nekoette, please! Eeeee! So CUTE!).

Just then, a pink haired Meif'wa appeared at the door. "Nekoette-Tan, please clean up after yourself-huh? ZANE-KUN! SO GLAD TO SEE YOU AGAIN!"

"Kawaii-Chan! Nice to see you, too!" Zane said as Kawaii-Chan hugged him really, really, really hard.

"So you're Kawaii-Chan? You're very... kawaii..." Aphmau said.

"Yep! Now come inside, all of you!" Kawaii-Chan said, pulling them all in.

After the introductions were over with and Zane had his sixty-four cupcakes, tea was served and everyone had a small chat break.

"Zane-Kun has been extremely helpful these past few days." Kawaii-Chan commented. "It's not easy, looking after Nekoette-Tan, or satisfying all of my customers. In return for cupcakes, Zane has been a really big help."

Zane blushed a little. Aphmau put her arm around his shoulder, smiling.

At that moment, Michi took a sip of tea. It wasn't the sweetness that shocked her, but the flavor that was overwhelming. Her illusion was completely short-circuited, and all six guests-Zane, Aphmau, Michi, Katelyn, Vylad and Emmalyn-were revealed as they truly are.

Kawaii-Chan gasped and began to fangirl for no apparent reason. Nekoette jumped up and hugged Zane hard, pulling his tail to confirm its authenticity. She squealed with delight.

Cringing because her sensitive demon ears couldn't the anymore, Michi screeched.

"ENOUGH!"

Kawaii-Chan immediately stopped fangirling and jumped. Michi was steaming, with anime fire in her eyes.

Nekoette ran over to Katelyn and awkwardly pulled on her wings. Then she ran over to Emmalyn, only for Emmalyn to levitate her over to Vylad.

Vylad calmly bowed down and let Nekoette stroke his wings and tail, purring slightly. Nekoette began to scratch him behind the ears. "Okay. I'm not a dog." Vylad said, calmly standing back up.

Nekoette and Zane both laughed.
