Jay: Hey what's up hello guys. My name is Jay. And I'm sure almost all of you know about the shooting of Christina Grimmie. Along with the Orlando shooting. My heart goes out to those who are LGBTQ and ones to those for lost family and friends. Here, is a cover that Christina Grimmie did. You can play it if you want, but I set up some lyrics. You'll know when to start it. Btw, I was absent for a little while bc I was reading @RubixCube89201 's The Good Girl's Bad Boys: The Good, the Bad, and the Bullied. It's sooooooo good and soooo long. Also, I was deciding on what song I should choose. Anyways, onto the chapter!

Nath's POV
"Bet you can't!"
"Bet I can!"
"Do it then. We both know you have bad balance." (Y/N) crosses her arms with a playful smirk on her face.
"Fine. I will." I give her an equally playful smirk. I go to the kitchen and grab a soda from the fridge and pop it open. I go back to my living where she is and start to balance it on my head.
"Don't drop it!" She laughs a little, making me wobble from side to side. After a few minutes, I balance myself out, not spilling a drop.
"See! I told you." I brag like a little kid. I can see her wearing a poker face, which oddly changes into another smirk.
"Oh yeah? What if I do this?" She takes a step towards me. I take a step back, making sure not to wobble the can. She takes another step, smiling innocently. I back up into our TV, wobbling the can slightly.
"You wouldn't dare..." I narrow my eyes at her, staring into her soul. She leans over to my ear, sending shivers down my spine.
"Yes...I...would~" She snapped onto my lips like a magnet. By instinct, try to kiss her back, only to have her pull away, taking a few steps back. In result, she leaves me to lean down and spill the fizzy drink on my red head and my clothes.
"Clever girl." I move some hair out of my eyesight and give her a 'I'm-so-proud-of-you' smile.
"Not so clever boy," She retorts. "I knew that would work. Now go shower my tomato child! Before you get sticky!" She pushes me towards my own bathroom.
"Ok, ok. Hold your horses (Y/N)!"
Time Skip
As I'm almost done with my fresh shower, I hear my piano in the living room being played. Taking a wild guess, it's probably my firefly. After I hop out and get dressed, I hear the music more clearly, hearing some singing too. I think she singing Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Heroes ft. Adam Levine. But she sung it in the style of Christina Grimmie. I follow the sound of her voice and the piano back.
🎹 My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every note
Oh oh
Make me your radio
Turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
I hide behind the couch to listen to her tune.
If I was just another dusty record on the shelve
Will you blow me off and play me like everybody else
If I ask you to scratch my back, could you manage that
Oh
I can handle that
I apologize for any skipping tracks
The last one that played me left a couple cracks
I used to, now I'm over that
Cause holding grudges over love is ancient artifacts
If I could only find a note to make you understand
I sing a song and the image grab me by the hands
Keep myself stuck inside your head, like your favorite tune
My heart is a stereo that only plays for you
Woah...
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every note
Oh oh
Make me your radio
Turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
If I wasn't old school, fifty pound boombox
Would you hold me on your shoulder, wherever you walk
Would you turn my volume in front of the cops
And crank it higher everytime they told you to stop
And all I ask is that you don't get mad at me
When you have to purchase mad D batteries
Appreciate every mixtape your friends make
You never know we come and go like we're on the interstate
So beautiful...
I think finally found a note to make you understand
If you can hear it, sing along and take me by the hands
Keep myself stuck inside your head, like your favorite tune
My heart is a stereo that only plays for you
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every note
Make me your radio
Turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
Has she rehearsed this?
I only pray you never leave me behind
Because good music can be so hard to find
I take your hand and pull it closer to mine
Thought love was dead, but now you're changing my mind
Ohohhohoho
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every note
Full of heart.
Oh oh
Make me your radio
Turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh 🎹
I heard her sigh for a moment, dead silence filling the air.
"HELLO!" I pop out from behind the couch like a Jack N the Box.
"GAHHH!!" She falls off the chair on her bottom. "Lemme guess. You heard me sing?"
"Yup."
"Beautiful voice?"
"Mhmm."
"Full of heart?"
"Yeah."
"Will get me food?"
"Yes- I mean what?" She laughs at me. Then the rest of the night...I had to get her food.
