My Tomato Child (Nathanael X Reader)

Chapter 5

Jay: If any of you are wondering why I reposted this chapter, it was because I forgot to put in Nath's weapon. Just a minor tweak. So, continue with the story!

"Hello!" The thing greeted me.

"AAAAAGHHH!!!" Luckily, my parents werent home yet, so they didn't hear my screams.

"Woah woah woah! Take it easy! Breath. Breath."

"Ok ok. What are you?" I looked at the thing from all angles. It looked like a tiny version of a red fox. (Pic above.) And by it's voice, it sounded like a male. (We need to make this canon! XD)

"I'm a fairy. I'm your kwami! This might seem like a shock, but you're a superhero now!" It raised its's fox tail up.

"Wait. You mean like Ladybug and Cat Noir?!?!" I freak out.

"Basically."

"Do you have a name? I'm Nathanael. But most people call me Nath." I shook his tiny hand.

"My name is Garner! Pleasure to meet you Nath." He gives me a salute.

"I can't believe it! I need to tell (Y/N)!!!" I go to pick up my phone on my bed.

"No! You must not tell anyone this secret! They could be in great danger." Garner warned me. I held the phone at my hand, staring at the profile pic of a beautiful (Y/N). I couldn't bare to put her in danger.

"Not even my parents?"

"Sorry bud. Anyways, we need to get you prepared. First of all, what causes the attacks, are things called Akumas." He started to inform me.

"Is that what Ladybug 'devilises'?"

"Yes. They're mission is to break the thing that the person holds most dear, which is what the akuma takes over. And that's what you must do as well. And do you know the powers that Ladybug and Cat Noir have?"

"Yeah."

"You get a power too!"

"Cool. What is it?"

"It's called 'Tornado Fox'! You can summon tiny red foxes about the size of me, and move stuff with them. Your weapon and communicator is your fox tail, which detracts, and becomes a sword or dagger! You can also transform it back into a tail if you want to put it away. But remember, after you use your power once, you only have five minutes until you detransform and you become Nath again. And right after you detransform, you need to get me some food." Garner lectured on.

"Ok, what do like to eat?"

"Strawberries."

"Good. We have a lot of those. You need some now?"

"Of course! It's been so long since I've had a decent meal. My previous holder was about thousands of years ago!"

"Oh. Is that why I've never heard of this hero before?" He flew around me as he followed me to my kitchen. He set himself on the counter as I went to the fridge.

"Probably." I give him some washed strawberries. He ate about ten whole strawberries in less than thirty seconds. When he was done, he didn't even look any bigger.

"Wow. That was sooooo good. Thanks!" He burped quite loudly.

"No problem. But how do I transform?" I started to question him.

"Easy, just take the pin in the box, that's your miraculous, and say 'White tipped tail out!' It might be descriptive, but it's just to distinguish you." (Don't judge me. I couldn't think of anything.) I look at the pin and it looks just like a normal pin. It has a yellow pencil inside a red heart. It honestly looks awesome. I put it on the top right corner of my shirt. (Yes you read that right. It's says pin, not pen. Idc anymore.)

"It actually sounds a bit ridiculous."

"You wanna be a hero or not?" I sigh.

"Fine. Garner! White tipped tail out!" The pencil on the pin becomes white and the heart becomes orange. Garner zooms into it. Red flashes swirled around me, along with my coincidentally corresponding hair. My hair becomes a bit more wild. (Kind of like Adrien's.) A mask, ears, tail, and a orangish-brown bodysuit covered me. I raced to my mirror to look at myself. I looked exactly what a red fox looks like, just human. Woah, I can even move my tail! I examine myself even more. The bodysuit actually shows all my muscles, which I find only a slightly bit uncomfortable. But I'm sure I'll get used to it.

"Woah. This is so much to take in all at once. Garner?" I look all around me. Oh yeah. He went into my miraculous. This is so amazing. I jump from my window, eager to try my special power outside. I don't want to break anything in my room.

As I go to my roof, the bright lights of Paris are the first things I see. Well, here it goes.

"Tornado Fox!" After I say that, my pin glows and releases tiny foxes in one huge group. Just by looking, there are probably about 70 of them. (If a kwami is about the size of your palm like in the show, that's going to be really big.) Must be to pick up huge things. I move my right arm and the foxes move along with it. I make a peace sign with my hand and the foxes mimic it.

I try to pull out my tail, and automatically becomes a sword. I see three buttons on it, one on the front, one on the back, and one on the end of the handle. I press the button on the handle, lighting it on fire. My teal eyes watch the flames as they dance around. I press the front button button on it, turning it into a dagger. Then, the back button turning it back into a sword. As I put it back, it automatically turns back into a bright red tail.

Then I hear beeping noises. I look at my pin and part of the pencil is beeping away. This is probably what Garner was talking about. I quickly go back into my house.

"While tipped tail off!" The same red flashes swirl around me as I revert back to my civilian form. Garner flies out of my pin.

"That was exhausting!" Garner lays on the counter once again.

"You're tired?"

"Of course, when I'm in your miraculous, it drains my energy. Like when you run." Garner crawls to the leftover strawberry container, eating about three more in ten seconds.

"Hmm. Does that mean I have to bring strawberries with me everywhere?"

"Pretty much."

"Wow, this is going to be one heck of a joyride."
