''Remember when I slept over your house, and we painted harry's nails when he was asleep''. I laughed.

''Yes! O I wonder if Gemma still has the pictaure''. I said

I cant believe my best friend it here. Because I was covered in paint I couldn't hug her until I was clean.

''I cant believe you're here''! I said.

''I know, now I'm not supposed to tell you this but you can thank you brother''. She whispered

''What''.

''Well you know Kenz, I haven't been liking collage at all, I don't know if it's the fact that it was in America, and too different for me. But I just wasn't feeling it. Harry called me up and told me he got me a spot in a really great collage here, that I couldn't get into to. I couldn't get in but he said that he talked to the man and I'm in, and he payed for my plan ticket. Which was in first class. So yeah. he said you were lonely''. She said

''Well yeah, its just me here. He didn't tell me he did all of that- that must've been the surprise he had planned''. I smiled to myself

I got up from the couch, finding Harry in the kitchen with my mum making homemade pasta. I wrapped my arms around his waist

He jumped a little probably not expecting me here.

''Thank you''. I mumbled

''For what''.

''For doing all of that, so Ashley could be here''. He put down the spoon, turning me around to I was facing him

''Youre welcome, I thought since I'm not here. You need someone''. He smiled

''Thank you so much''! I smiled

''Wait, was Niall involved in this too''! I said

''Yeah.. that why he Skype you, to keep you busy. When I got off the phone with the manager of the collage, I walked out finding you sleeping. I even took a picture so the boys could see''. He chuckled

I slapped his arm playfully ''What's with you always taking pictures of me when I'm asleep''.

''Kenz could you set the table''. My mum said

I nodded getting plates and forks.

''I haven't had a meal in forever that you cooked Harry''. Ashley came into the kitchen

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took it out seeing Niall's face light up onto the screen.

I immediately smiled.

''Hold on one sec, it's Niallier''. I smiled, going out onto the deck.

''Hey Niall''.

''KENZIE!!! How are you''!!! Louis screamed I winced a little

''Hi Louis! Why are you answering on Niall's phone''. I laughed

''Well I saw he was calling you, and I wanted to talk so I took his phone''.

''Haha okay, well I miss you! My prankster buddy''! I smiled

''I know! I what you here! Niall cant keep his mouth shut about you, he keeps on talk-

''Okay that's enough Lou, I'll talk now''. I heard Niall say

''Hey Kenz how are you''. I could hear the smile in his voice

''So you cant keep your mouth shut about me, can you''. I smirked. He fell silent for a moment. I knew he was blushing

''W-well its j-just you know we m-miss you an-

''Ni, I'm joking! You think I don't talk about you. Ashley's been here, for at least and hour and left when I lept on talking about you''. He laughed through the phone man I wish I could see him in person

''Were you happy to see Ash then eh''?

''Are you kidding! God I was like in shock! That was the highlight of my day, since the rest didn't go to good''. I mumbled the last part

''Uh no kenz what did you do''.

''Nothing! It wasn't me. Well lets just say I got fired from my job''. I trailed

''Aww Mackenzie, I'm sorry''.

''Umm I guess it's alright you know I-ill just have to hold off on collage for a little while''.

''What do you mean''. He said concern

''Well I needed only like a couple thousand pounds then I would have enough to go to collage in the fall, but since I don't have a job......''. I trailed

''Why don't you just let Harry pay for it, or even me I'll pay for it''.

''No! I don't want your money! I want to do it on my own and not have to have someone help. It's fine''.

''Kenz come one, don't be silly. I'll pay for it''.

''Niall, that's not what I want. I don't need you nor Harry's help''.

I stopped once I realized what I said, I was harsh. The girl that just said that wasn't me. He fell silent

''N-No Niall I need you. I need Harry. I do need your help. Just I want to do it on my own. I'm s-sorry''. I was trying so hard not to cry. Honestly I do really need their money, but I don't want to be the girl that had to have someone help her pay for collage. I know that I can do it myself

''I understand Kenz, sorry for pushing it. I miss you''. He changed the subject.

I sighed letting a single tear fall.

''I miss you too, ... a lot''. I said trying not to make it sound like I was crying

''How about we Skype later tonight''. He suggested

''Yeah, maybe around eleven usually when everyone's asleep''. I said

''Yeah, okay go have fun with Ash''.

''Okay, tell the boys I said hi''. I croaked

''I will, bye''. I hung up the call. I held my phone to my chest. I sighed, trying to clear my head. What's going on with me.

I stayed out their for a few moments, but then I heard the slide glass door open

''Kenz, you alright''. Ashley said

''Umm yeah, it's just I got off the phone with Niall, and-''. I sighed, frustrated with myself

''Mackenzie, what''.

''Well he wanted to pay for collage for me, but I said no, and then he refused and then I got made and snapped at him, I said I was sorry. But he seemed upset''. I frowned

''Why are you so worked up on this''. She paused ''He'll be fine, I mean knowing Niall he's the most understanding person I know, he gets it''.

''I know but what if I made him upset with me''.

''Why would you be on the verge of tears if he's mad or upset with you''. The thing was, I really didn't know the answer to that

''Because I care about him?''

''No Kenz, I know why you Like him''! She squealed

''Yeah as a friend''.

''Nope someone has a crush''!

''I mean think about it, you always talk about him, you're always on the phone with him, your most close with him. Kenz you like him"!

Now that I think about it. I think she's right!
