Author's Note

Dear Readers,
First off, I'd just like to say bloody hell. That ending was no at all what I expected when I started this story off. In truth, until the day I wrote this author's note I had been planning to continue it. But then the idea of Levi dying in this way came to me, because truthfully I had no idea what Levi could have done that was so awful he would be crying. If you're mad that he died, consider this:
His death meant so much more if you reread everything that happened after the incident with Les Deuces. Everything he did, he did because he knew he would never get to do things like this again. And he was happy before he died too, which is backed up by him finally playing the violin again having earlier sworn that he wouldn't play until he was happy again.
So now that I've essentially explained the ending, I'd also like to say sorry... That was mean of me. But I didn't think a story like this would work with a happy ending, and not everything goes to plan.

Now thank you, all of you, for making this such an enjoyable experience as my second book. I believe I started it on 29th April and finished it 20th June. Not bad for a book longer than the Philosopher's Stone (it's about 79000 words- yikes!- so well done for making it this far!) eh? This is the longest book I've ever written and I must say I'm pretty proud... And it was all very much encouraged by the wonderful people who kept reading and commenting and being genuinely delightful people.

HECK CAN I DO THAT WITH THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER BEING DEAD.
