A Halloween Special that has no whatsoever relations to the holiday except a mention, ha! Though, it is a tradition for me every Halloween to go through folklores or horror stories like I watched BuzzFeed's Unsolve Mysteries thing that was over forty-six minutes long. Hell, I can't sleep well.
I hope you enjoy this special! Also, I just posted this two days late because of procrastination. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SMUT OR FLUFF QUESTION THOUGH! I've been planning this since August actually.

The girl sighed in frustration. She dragged her feet and walked into the forest path that would take her home. It's been a hard day for her. Her fingers were quite numb, they had blisters, her arms hurt like hell, and the fact that she had been standing for four hours strained her body more.

She was glad that she could at least walk the pain off, but her arms and fingers truly hurt more. They felt like they were about to come off. She sighed loudly and looked at the branches above.

For weeks she has been practicing this one song on the viola with the whole orchestra. She was chosen to play a solo for some event. Of course, she was honored and she gladly accepted this opportunity that might take her to become a professional. But she still hasn't perfected the song and she was going to perform next weekend.

"So tired..." She muttered as she dragged her feet on the dirt.

The violin in her case bounced a bit as she walked down a rocky path that went downhill. She nearly slid down a couple of times, but she couldn't care less if her feet got hurt. What was important is that her baby was be safe, and her fingers too. She stared at her calloused fingers that were marked and red.

She knew that she needed the practice, but she was almost doubting herself if she can syill play in her condition. For the past few weeks, she has been weak. Her finals finally ended last week, but she had more activities to do like playing for the event, and a family reunion was up and her grandmother expected her to play something concert worthy.

She looked up at the trees. The sky was turning dark, she needed to hurry home before the sky gets darker. As soon as possible, she wanted to flop on her bed, maybe go on Tumblr or Youtube a bit, and then pass out to a wonderful dream. She wanted to rest badly. Sitting below the trees did sound nice at the moment. She's been walking home for hours since she missed the last bus of the afternoon and the next one wasn't coming until seven at night. Without the bus, she managed to reach halfway through the forest by six o'clock. Her feet were so sore, she really wanted to take a break.

"I mean, home is just a fifteen minute walk from here," she thought aloud, "what can a small nap do to you?"

She jinxed the "small" part.

When the girl woke up, it was nearing midnight. She suddenly felt shocked on how long her nap was, and was surprised that her grandmother didn't come looking for her yet. She found herself sleeping on her viola case and a bit of drool right there.

"Great, really?" She wiped off her drool on the case and on her face.

She got up and felt annoyed. One small nap was all she needed to do to put it up to the game.

For the first time, the woods that surrounded her scared her. It seemed different at night. Usually during the Midsummer Festivals, she would go outside and hang up lanterns to pretend fairies live there, but it seemed so different when she was a bit farther away from her house.

She couldn't see the lights of her house, or the Halloween pathway signs she hasn't taken down yet. It was beginning to scare her.

She rubbed her hands together for warmth and looked at her surroundings to see if anything looked familiar. The trees did, and so did the rest of them. They were all trees, they all looked a like. She started to think about those folklores her grandmother used to tell her when she was little.
