No, this is not based on the movie. The movie sucks, no offense to those fans out there. The movie seriously sucked, and I'm not just referring to the early CGI effects.  I'm talking about the plot of the entire movie.  Yes, I have read the modified book and summary of Beowulf and I am sure as fuck that Beowulf didn't fuck Grendel's mamma in the book. Heck, he decapitated her. Also, Beowulf is from Sweden and is King of the Geats in the end. He's not a Dane, he's a Swede. Geats are from the southern parts of Sweden. Totally not a part of Denmark. Beowulf went to Denmark because they asked him for help.
Directors and producers, get your facts straight.

She was bored.

Very bored.

She stared at the wooden lollipop that swayed side to side as the clock, it was attached to, ticked and tocked.

The clock was her design while working in this shop. Her friends owned a clock shop together somewhere in Denmark and decided to hire her for the meantime. She didn't mind the loud sounds of sirens for the testing, or the constant blabbering of her other friends on the answering machine. The nice life she had was quiet and relaxing. No matter how crazy her friends were, she had a quiet and relaxing life.

From the crazy mornings to the late night drinking, she's happy. Though, sometimes, she thinks that this life was too boring. Too plain, too cliché. There was no excitement, except for the time she saw Lukas and Emil wasted together near the borders of Germany. Nothing else was exciting. The world would just keep spinning even with the plainness around. With or without, it will just keep spinning.

She started to think about it. The ticking and tocking around gave her a vibe of something logically or philosophical.

What if I was kidnapper by some Mafia out of nowhere? She started to wonder of to the dangerous fantasies in her head. Falling in love like some burlesque performer in a book sounds tempting... I could just imagine the adventure and sex in that. She giggled.

What about getting abducted by aliens? What if I get into some horrible accident and- yikes! Too much! She shook her head from the bad thoughts. Hmmm, falling in love with a friend, specifically some childhood friend, is too cliché. I wish my life would be like those people in the books, shows, anime, and movies...

She sighed dreamily and continued staring at the clock. Her thoughts suddenly came to a thought.

What if I was a Time Lord without knowing it? Or Time Lady-whatever. She looked at the TARDIS clock she designed last year along with the Dalek one.

"Ugh, what am I even doing?" She banged her head on the spruce counter and groaned. "I should be thinking about my college funds dammit."

The sound of the small, silver, angel bell rung. She sighed and looked up with the despaired look on her face still there. Her eyes lit up as she saw the person who just came in. A child-like smile crept up on her face.

The man who just came in was a friend of hers. She knew him well. Those intimidating ice blue eyes under his thin-framed glasses and the short unkept hair, it was no mistake that it was Berwald.

"Are you making more clocks today, Ber?" She asked him excitedly.

No matter how intimidating Berwald was, his scary vibe wouldn't rub on her. To her, he wasn't scary. It's all just from the height and his looks. Scary, but handsome.
