The Pancake Family (Canada x Reader)

"Five plates of pancakes at table one mom and dad!" Your seven year old daughter Naomi yelled over the opening where the kitchen can be seen. You and your husband Matthew have been working together in a small pancake house in Ottawa. Your house would be always full because of Matthew's and your's skills in making pancakes. Even if it was past noon, people would still eat you and your husband's famous pancakes.

"Coming right up!" You placed five plates of pancakes that was stacked with ten pieces of pancakes as your ten year old son Jason got the plates and served it to table five.

"A couple's special was ordered!" Your other daughter Kiera who was five yelled as she served maple syrup at one of the customer's pancake, which was already over flowing.

"Kiera the syrup!" Your son Keith who was the twin of Kiera warned his twin.

"Oops!" Your family laughed as you and Matthew continued making pancakes.

Later as the day ended you and your family was tired from work, but you had a surprise planned out for them all.

"Do you guys still have energy?" The kids nodded as Matthew gave a smile, "remember that when me and your father were all gonna take you play hockey this week?" Their eyes glittered as they jumped in joy.

"Yes! Hockey is the best!" Jason fist pumped into the air as you all walked to a nearby frozen lake near the house where you and your family lived. You all played in until all of your feet were sore. Of course you all went to bed with a proper dinner.
You climbed up you bed as Matthew kissed your forehead.

"This is the life no?" He smiled.

"Oui." You looked at each other as you kissed.

"I love you Mattie." You whispered.

"I love you too (y/n)." Then you both fell asleep hugging each other.
