You were the best friend of Heracles since you moved to Athens when you were ten.
He taught you the traditions, how to read the letters in Greek, how to speak the language, the history and how to take care of cats.
You were now twenty-one working with Heracle as his assistant in the excavation sites looking for the remains what his mother left him.
You would be the one bringing him lunch in the afternoon, but you never complained as long as you best friend was with you.
Little did you know that he had a crush on you. You also have a crush on him too ever since.
Today you and and Heracles were with some men digging out the sand (or whatever that covered the remains of the temple) that covered one of the temples of Hera.
"Heracles take a break will you? I'll take your place there." Since he took your spot about hours ago while you were digging. You found one of Hera's statues underneath, but the rest was deep below so he took your shovel and dug half of the statue out.
"Fine." He sat down by a basket full of bright red apples.
You dug at least one-fourth of the statue and got tired easily because of the heat.
"Catch!" Heracles threw you a bright red apple. You caught it, but the workers stopped working and stared at the scene.
"Huh? What's wrong?" You gave everyone a confused look as you bit the apple.
"(Y/N) remember about the Greek way of marriage proposals?"
"Yeah."
"I threw you an apple and you caught it." You stopped eating the apple and looked at Heracles.
"Did you just propose to me?"
"Would you like a ring with that too?" He walked towards you as he took out a small box and opened it as he came face to face to you. You looked at the ring. It had a big pearl with some Greek writings on the golden band.
"Heracles..."
"I never had the guts to confess to you or ask you out on a date or ask you to become my girlfriend and I know this might be a little too fast forward but... (Full Name) I love you since the day I saw you. You weren't just a best friend to me. I loved you more than just a friend. Whenever you would talk about mythology or the traditions, I adore your eyes that was full of curiosity. So (Y/N) I hope you would say yes." He kneeled down with the box open showing the ring, "(Full Name) will you marry me?"
You were beginning to tear up, "Nai.. NAI NAI NAI!" You glomped the Greek man as you kissed him and broke away as the two of you got up.
(Translation: Yes)
The workers cheered. Heracles and you got up and placed the ring on your left ring finger.
"Σ'αγαπώ." You smiled at him hugging him
(Translation: I love you)
"Σ'αγαπώ πάρα πολύ." He smiled back.
You got married after two months because of arguing where the wedding should be held. Either at Hera's temple or Aphrodite's temple.
The two of you ended up having the wedding at Hera's temple after Heracles won the argument.
You two never fought again except when you two talk about which god or goddess was the best.
Sorry for the long update. I just got this idea from a PJO headcannon.
