Kaylee's P.O.V.

I'm still confused on what's going on between me and Ashton. We hang out all the time and he makes me laugh, which honestly, I've never done with someone before. He makes me smile like I never have before, but he can be demanding and I don't like it. I'm getting ready to go out with him right now.

We're going to go get ice cream. I think what I like so much about him, is that he doesn't push me to tell him things. I mean sometimes he'll ask where I'm going, but that's only if we're cuddling on the couch and I get up to do something. He pretty much knows I'm either at home, with him, or at the gym. He doesn't bug me about not telling him something right away, he just lets me tell him when I'm ready, even though I haven't told him anything. It only has been five days, but it feels like much longer.

I'm wearing grey skinny jeans with a dark green floral shirt. A grey beanie and white vans. I hear Bree calling for me and I grab my phone before going downstairs. Ashton's wearing black skinny jeans, a black t-shirt, a grey hoodie, and grey vans.

"Hello beautiful." He hugs me. I mumble a hi to him before turning to Bree.

"I'll be home later." I say to her.

"Have fun." She gives me two thumbs up and a wide smile. I roll my eyes and Ashton wraps an arm around me, basically pulling me out the door.

"Someone's eager." I tease as he opens up the passenger door.

"Well wouldn't anyone be eager to take out a beautiful girl like yourself?" He winks at me and closes the door. I roll my eyes and smile to myself. This guy is something else.

We make our way to the ice cream shop and it remains pretty quiet. Ashton sings along to some of the songs and I can tell he's not trying, but it still sounds beautiful. We finally make it and I get out before he can come around to open my door and he shoots me a playful glare. I laugh and he takes my hand to lead me inside.

We stand in the small line waiting for our turn when I see somebody laughing in the corner of my eye. I look over and I don't recognize who it is, but he keeps looking at me and it's making me uncomfortable. I feel a little relieved when it's our turn to order.

We get our orders and I lead Ashton to sit on the opposite side of the shop as the guy who keeps looking at me. Ashton looks at me funny, but I just act like nothing's wrong and eat my ice cream. He offers me a bite of his, then I do the same with mine. I accidentally get some on his face and laugh, while he wipes it off. He smiles like ad idiot, but I think it's cute.

We make small conversation, the both of us enjoying our delights and I look up to see the one guy walking over here. He sits down next to me and I scoot over to get away from him. Ashton's jaw tenses as he watches the guy smirking at me.

"Hello babe." He says. And I stand up and get out of my seat.

"Don't call her that." Ashton says through gritted teeth.

"Oh, what are you, an over protective boyfriend? Let your lady have some space." The guy steps towards me. Ashton holds up his hand to keep the guy from going any further.

"Stay the fuck away from her!" He yells at him and pushes him back into the table. I jump and grab Ashton's arm before he does anything else.

He immediately pulls me into him, his arms wrapping around my back, before turning to the guy laying on the floor.

"You're lucky she was here to save your ass." He says angrily.

One of his arms drops from holding me. The other is on the small of my back guiding me towards the door. I can still feel his tense body, but I choose to let it go. He keeps pushing me towards the car and it's pissing me off.
