Kaylee's P.O.V.

Ashton slips his hand inside my sweatshirt and I quickly push him away. He looks at me confused, but now he understands. I grip the bottom of my sweatshirt and pull it down as far as it can go. Bree steps away from Harry and hugs herself, feeling ashamed.

"Let me see." Ashton says softly. I shake my head and the tears stream down my face from the pain creeping up on me again.

Without warning Ashton picks me up bridal style and carries me outside. We hear sirens and I feel a little relieved. I still can't get the fact that Ashton killed Alex out of my head, but in all honesty, Alex deserved it.

"Is it really that bad?" He asks. I hold my breath for a minute as he sets me down and try to fight the pain. I nod and he grabs my face between his hands. "You have to let me see." He says gently. His green eyes peer into my brown eyes and I swear he takes me under a spell. His eyes leave mine and I notice that he lifted up my sweatshirt. His eyes widen and his mouth drops. I curiously look down and there's a deep purple bruise on the side of my hip. He lifts up my shirt more and my whole torso is covered in dark bruises and deep cuts. I don't know how the cuts got there, but they hurt really bad.

"Does your whole body look like that?" Harry asks.

"I-I think so.." I break my gaze from my body to Bree's eyes. They're full of tears and she still hugs her body.

"And yours too?" He points to Bree. She closes her eyes and covers her face with her hands. She starts to cry badly now and Harry wraps his arms around her. I can't imagine what she's thinking.

"Shh, baby, it's gonna be alright." He whispers in her ear.

Not long after, the police arrive, along with an ambulance. There's so many officers walking around and a paramedic takes me to the back of an ambulance. I drag Ashton along, unwilling to be away from him right now. Eventually I'll need space, but right now, I just need him. He waits and watches as the paramedic lifts up my shirt. I see his fists ball and I look at him reassuringly. His fists unclench and his face relaxes. The paramedic puts my shirt back down and lifts up the pant legs of my sweats and sleeves of my shirt. After further examination, he stands up and looks at me concerned.

"We're going to have to go to the hospital to examine your whole body and clean all your cuts." He says.

"The fuck you are!" Ashton yells.

"Don't worry, she'll be able to have a female nurse examine and clean her." He assures Ashton. I grab his hand to pull him to me. The paramedic walks away and Ashton kisses my forehead.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" He whispers.

"Not yet." I say, my voice still weak. He kisses all the cuts and bruises I have on my face before a police officer comes up.

"I need to talk to you for questioning." He says to Ashton. I grip his hand tighter as he tries to pull away.

"Don't leave me." I tear up and he looks at me.

"I guess I can question at the same time." He sighs. Ashton sits next to me and pulls me closer by my waist. "Kayleeanne Marie McCollum Robertson, we understand that you were kidnapped by Alex Jared Matthews. Do you admit to this?" He asks me.

"I do." I say quietly.

"Would you like to tell me all the things he did to you?" He asks. I nod slowly and take a deep breath. Ashton rubs my back and helps me relax.

As I explain, I close my eyes to make sure I don't miss anything. The images are still fresh in my mind. The way he looked before he drugged me. The ice in his eyes and venom in his voice. The feeling of the sick bastard pushing into me and the stabbing in the pit of my stomach. All of it is still so clear and vivid and it almost scares me. It makes me believe for a second that this feeling will never go away, that the images will never leave my mind. When I'm done I look up and realize I was crying. I don't know who wouldn't after the things that he did to me and Bree. It pains me to know that some girls weren't so lucky. The police officer and Ashton look at me with a sad expression on their face.
