Harry's POV

"What?!" Kaylee yells.

"Yeah he got released today. Wanted me to come by and see how she's doing." He smirks. I grab him by shirt and slam him into the wall outside.

"You came here as a sidekick for the man that raped and beat your ex girlfriend. The one that you begged to come back to you. You're a sick bastard. So is Jason. If I see either of you ever again, I'll kill you both I swear." I look him in the eyes and his are full of fear.

"Harry. It's okay. Come here." Bree's hands pull me away slightly. I didn't even know she came downstairs.

"Bree go back upstairs." I scold.

"No! Look at me." She grabs my arm.

"Bree! Go inside!" I yell at her.

"Stop telling me what to do Harry. Look at me. You always get like this." She sighs in defeat. I shoot my head over to her.

"Get like what?" I step closer to her. She doesn't look at me but she takes a step away from me.

"Your eyes gets dark and, a-and you get mean." She takes another step back.

"Hey Bree. You look good." Steven calls from behind me.

"I hate you!" She screams and runs toward him. She starts pushing him and punching him. "I hate you. You never treated me the way I deserved to be treated. You never cared and now you come back and bring up Jason when you know what it does to me. What the thought of you does to me. I fucking hate you!" She cries and Kaylee wraps her in her arms. I don't know what just happened or why and I'm terribly confused.

"I-I'm sorry." Steven looks at her. "I shouldn't have come here." He looks down.

"No you shouldn't have. Now get the fuck out of here." I push him down the stairs of the patio.

"Shh. It's okay Bree." Kaylee whispers.

"Bree." I say softly and try to touch her, but she jerks back.

"D-Don't touch me." She digs her face into Kaylee's shoulder.

"Do you want me to leave?" I ask and look down.

"No, I just want Kaylee for a couple moments." She stands up. Kaylee puts her arm around Bree's shoulders and leads her to the outside patio on the side of the house. I just stay here, on my knees with my head in my hands trying to figure out what's going to happen next.

Kaylee's POV

"Bree, it's okay. Come here." I lead her to the couch on the patio. She looks up at the sky and wipes her tears.

"Do you ever think about it? Do you ever ask God, "Why me?" Do you ever wonder what you could've done to prevent it? To change yourself or what you could do so you're strong enough for this amount of pain? How do I let go? How do I stop thinking about it?" She looks at me with tears in her eyes. It literally breaks my heart. I haven't seen Bree so lost since she lost her parents. I can feel the hurt radiating off her skin and see the cracks of her heart in her eyes.

"I do think about it. I just don't let it get to me. I always thank who ever it is that is up there that I'm alive, healthy, and living the life I am. We have so many people here for us Bree. We have all these people who are willing to go to the ends of the earth for us. And you didn't look at Harry before we came out here, but I can tell he's torn. Seeing you like this broke him apart inside. It breaks me apart seeing you like this. You just have to remind yourself of everything you have and continue being strong, not only for the people around you, but mostly for yourself too. Cause we'll all be here in the end, no matter what. Just like you were for us." I wipe her tears away and she looks at me.
