Rolands POV

I was trudging along, sipping my coffee and trying to reason why I was up and walking. I was about to turn back and head for home when my arms were grasped and I was suddenly being forced to run.

I whipped my head to the side and noticed that I was being tugged along by two of my friends, Jack and Blake. I wrenched my arms from their grasp and ran beside them, raising my eyebrow questioningly when jack glanced at me.

"We're late," he puffed, bumping my side. I was about to ask for what, when we went crashing into something small and soft. I landed on something that gave a yelp of pain, and Jack landed on me, causing me to squish the thing more.

I could feel the thing, which I now realised was a person, trying to push us off. Jack shot to his feet, taking off at a dead sprint calling back to apologize. I stood and looked down at the guy who was looking after Jack. He was a bit small, his shirt was baggy on his slight frame and his cargo pants looked rather large. I held out my hand as he was turning back, determined to apologize and be on my way.

He took my hand and looked up at me with big eyes...

What the fuck

His eyes were the most beautiful things I've ever seen, they were vibrant and cool, swirling like the water of a lake.

So very blue!

Before I realized what I was doing I'd dropped his hand,

His, as in he was a guy!

I took off, confusion and anger swirling through my head.

I'm not gay. I LIKE GIRLS!!! Why is this happening to me? What the fuck.

I decided to ditch class and headed a couple of blocks north of the college. Going to see the only person who could maybe help me figure out what was going on.

I reached a small brownstone, situated between two apartment complexes, and knocked on the door.

I heard a loud thud followed by laughing and stomping. The door swung open to reveal a rather tall figure who seemed to be trying to stifle their laughter. Jean waved me in, ruffling my hair as I passed.

I pace into the kitchen, looking at a very grumpy woman who was wearing clothes four sizes to big for her. She glared at me and grabbed her bowl of cereal, sitting at the table situated in the middle of the room.

"Whatcha want dink? It's early as shit." As if to punctuate her statement, she yawned hugely.

I said the only thing that seemed to be going through my mind.

"Blue." I said, staring at the table top. She paused her eating and stared at me. "Come again?" She mumbled, her face becoming blank. I looked at her and sighed. "Eyes, blue. So very blue." I mumbled, dropping into a seat and holding my head in my hands.

I heard her chair squeak and creak and suddenly arms were slung around me. "Who? Where? Are they cute? What do they look like?" She questioned, barely stopping to breathe.

I looked up at her, my waring feelings battling in my eyes, and shook my head.

"I... I ran away. I didn't know what to do! His eyes though..." I tried to explain, but I think she heard enough.

She was silent for a moment, and when I looked up, I immediately regretted it.

Hell fire burned in her amber eyes and her frame shook.

Dear lord I'm dead
