Stuck Inside Four Walls

Chapter six

I open my eyes to the sun peaking in through the large window in our room. The next thing I see is both girls sitting on their beds watching what ever show is on the TV.

I go to get up and feel the reoccurring pain in my stomach. My head is throbbing as well. Luckily, we don't have much planned today as we are leaving this afternoon around two thirty.

I get up, despite the pain and go to gets bottle of water and some medicine for my head.

"Good morning. How are you feeling?" Ellie asks with concerned look on her face, she was like a mother. She wasn't much older than us, but she had an old soul.

"About the same. But I'm sure it's just something viral." I reassure her and she nods, she's not convinced. I can tell from the look she have me.

"Well at least you have most of the day to relax now." Alexis says sweetly. I think she is one of those girls that you have to get to know to like. She is becoming more and more tolerable by the minute.

Once I have the medicine in my system, I ask the girls if they want to head downstairs, since this hotel serves free breakfast. They agree and I pull

on a light sweater over tank top.

The whole elevator ride I'm feeling quite dizzy, most likely because I haven't eaten since early yesterday evening. We get downstairs and I get a ton of food. We all have our plates piled with food because we were all starving. We sit at a table next to a large window, similar to the one in our room, and dig in.

Once we are done eating we head upstairs, and start packing our bags so that we can relax until the driver arrives to take us to our next destination.

It doesn't take long to pack our bags, because we didn't really unpack. It's around noon now, so we just watch whatever is on TV.

Suddenly I hear my phone ringing. I look down at the screen

Elizabeth Stone. The name on the top of the screen reads. I shush the girls and answer.

"Hello?"

"Hello Alyssa. How is everything."

"Good thanks"

"That's good. I was wondering if you girls would mind if the driver came a bit early, so you guys can get there earlier."

I check with the girls to make sure there's no problem and they don't mind.

"That works for us" I tell her.

"Great. He will be there to get you in about a half an hour."

"Thanks" I say as the line disconnects.

I tell the girls the plan and we get our bags and head downstairs to check out.

Once we are checked out, we see our car pull up. We head out and put our bags in the back. I'm still feeling miserable, so I grab my big sweater and pull it on, put in my earbuds and close my eyes waiting for sleep to come.
