The whole ride back to the hospital was spent with a mile long smile across both mine and Harry's faces.

People always have asked me how I can keep a smile on my face considering what I'm going through. My answer is always the same, I know I'm dying, I can't avoid the inevitable, so why would I leave this world angry when I could enjoy my last few moments to the fullest.

That's not saying I'm not going to miss this, I'm going to miss every little bit of this. The simple things, like picking out my outfits in the morning, painting my nails, having sleepovers with my friends, making snow angels, but all of that has been stripped away from me while I live in this hospital.

But it has been replaced with what I will always love the most, Harry. I could go without all of those things if I could be with Harry forever. I love everything we do together, making diner together, watching stupid movies together that we both love, but mostly just being each others prescence.

Harry glances over to me, and pulls my hands into his lap.

"Did you know that I would say yes?" I ask him and he chuckles.

"Well, I had a feeling you would, but there's always that part of you that thought you were going to say no." He smiles almost as if he's reliving the feeling in his mind.

"You want to know what sold me?" I ask him as I grin. He nods curiously.

"When you mentioned the rainbow. I loved that song, and the movie. It's sounds so magical and described a wonderland for me when I was little. I used to think that my parents went to that place because everyone always said 'they are in a better place', so that was the best place I could imagine. I remember being in school and whenever we were told to draw our 'happy place', that's what I'd draw. It was an escape for my young mind, rainbows, blue birds, sunny days, it was a 10 year olds paradise." Harry smiles at me and rubs the pad of his thumb on my forehand. It's so comforting.

That's the thing about us, words aren't always necessary. By his body language or each different type of smile conveys his thoughts better than words ever could.

We stop into the bakery he used to work in to pick up a little snack, which happened to be a very good  blueberry muffin for each of us. Once we were finished, we continue on to the hospital. The snow is starting to fall, making the view of the drive even more beautiful. All you can see on each side of the road is tree's that look like they've been dipped in snow.

Soon, the solem marshmallow trees have disapeared and have turned into 30 story bulidings and hundreds of cars lined along the highway. Everytime we stop due to traffic, Harry is texting someone, it catches my attention because he barely ever uses his phone when we're in the car.

"Who are you texting, babe?'' I ask curiously.

"Oh, just Gemma. She, erm wants to stop by and see you when we get back. Is that ok?" He explains, I think there's something else he's not telling me, but I ignore it for now.

"Yeah sure, sounds great. Then I get to show her this." I hold up my left hand to the light to admire the ring once again. He chuckles at my ongoing excitement.

We pull up to the hospital in a matter of minutes and make our way back to my room. Harry says we should take a different route to get there today. The detour that he takes me on goes through all the hallway of  the childrens cancer room's.

I hate this hallway. It breaks my heart to see kids as young as 5 years old dealing with what I am as an adult, and much worse. Thinking about ths makes me think of Rosie. I wonder what she is up to. An awful thought pushes it's way into my mind but I try to eliminate it.

Just as were almost at my room, we see Dr. Smith in the hallway. She asks if she can see me for a minute to make sure everything is just as good as it was when I left. Harry says that he'll be right outside the room.

"So, how was your day? Wait, what is that? Oh my god." She gasps as she see's the ring after she is finished checking my blood pressure, breathing, and a few other things.

"Yes, I freaked out!" I respond and we both laugh at my giddiness.

"I'd say! Wow, that's such a beautiful ring. Congratulations" She admires it, as do I for the millionth time.

"Alright, well you're free to go. Have fun with your finacé." She exagerates the last part causing me to  smile and giggle.

I exit the room and see Harry there. We walk to my room, and when I open the door I'm greeted with a unexpected, but heart warming sight.

I see Gemma, Ellie, Anne, and my aunt Carol sitting around my room chatting. As soon as they notice that we've arrived they all rush over to me. They all gawk at my ring and gossip about how "beautiful" and "stunning" it is. I must agree, the ring is everything I could have ever dreamed of and more. Its simple, yet elegant, and most of all, it fits beautifully with the promise ring.

"Alright then. Let's get started!" Anne exclaims and claps her hands.

"Start what?" I ask and they all laugh lightly. Harry gives his mum a look that makes us all laugh. They all edge him to go on and he does.

"Alright, well since my mum kind of gave it away, I had an idea. Remeber when I said that I knew you were going to say yes?" He asks and I nod, even though I'm confused at what's going on.

"Well, why don't we just get married now? Why should we wait?" He asks as if it's the simplest thing in the world. He does surprise me, I'll give him that.

"Like right now?" I laugh and he grins.

"Yep. Right now." He answers happily and I giggle.

"How do you expect to set up a wedding in a few hours?" I ask, I think there might be a flaw in his plan that he has just sprung upon me.

"I've already got all of it planned, baby. Why do you think they're all here?" He smiles and I direct my attention over to them. They are all giddy and smiling from ear to ear. Then it finally clicks. He already had all of this planned.

"Are you serious? We're getting married, right now?" I begin to get extremely excited. He nods and chuckles then pulls me into a long intense kiss. They all awe, causing us to laugh.

"Alright, love birds! We better get to it. Harry, get out of here, it's bad luck to see your bride before the wedding!" My aunt exclaims as she shoo's him out of the room.

"Bye, babe!" He calls out to me as he turns the corner. I smile and he blows me a kiss, I pretend to catch it as he smiles back at me.

"Alright, well let's get you all dolled up!" Gemma says and grabs a big suit bag.

"What's in there?" I ask and she laughs.

"Your wedding dress!" She exclaims and unzips the bag. Inside is a long white dress. It has a sweetheart neck line and flows out at the waist. It's absolutely stunning.

"I love it." I stare at the dress in awe.

"Well, go try it on! You don't have much time to waste. The ceremony starts at three thirty and, oh my it's one o'clock already." My aunt explains frazzled.

I try on the dress and do everything else to prepare for my surprise wedding. I can't believe that in less than three hours I'm going to be Mrs. Styles.
