All I could feel is fear. Also a lot of confusion. What was happening to me?

All I could see was a bruise going diagonally across my chest, also along the front of my waist. I had no idea what was happening. It may he because the drive was so long, and the seatbelt was around me for such a long time. But would there really be that large of a bruise in such a strange shape? I guess I will just ask Ellie in the morning what's she thinks I should do. I was still feeling gross, but I can't really do anything about it at one in the morning.

I hop back into bed after I put the tank top on, I guess I couldn't see it earlier because I had my big sweater on. I pull the cover on top of me, I'm still warm but it's quite comforting as I drift off to sleep.

*Next morning*

I wake to hear a hair dryer going. I'm glad that this hotel has curtains over their windows, so I don't have have the sun blaring in my eyes.

I get up to go get dressed and complete the rest of my morning routine. I see Ellie drying her hair over at the makeup table.

"Good morning." I say over the loud sound of the hair dryer. She turns around and the look on her face drastically changes.

"Alyssa, What the hell happened to you?" She asks standing up and walking over to me. I suddenly remember what I discovered last night.

"I honestly had no idea until early this morning. I took off my sweater and that's what I saw." I explain to her as she examines the bruising across my upper chest.

"Alyssa, this doesn't seem right. And with you not feeling well for what? A week now? I'm going to tell Alexis." She says as she grabs her sweater and purse.

"Tell her what? Where are you going?" I ask, my nerves about to explode.

"WE are going to the hospital. Grab your purse." She says. I start feeling nauseous again. I don't know if it's my nerves or my so called 'sickness'.

We make our way downstairs and Ellie yields a taxi. We both hop in as she calls someone on her cellphone, she is talking quietly so I can't hear.

Within a few minutes we pull up at a tall grey building, which I'm assuming is the hospital. She pulls me out of the backseat of the cab and practically drags me into the building. We walk up to the emergency room door and I stop instantly. I run over to the garbage can on my left and puke up, whatever was left in my stomach from last night's incident.

"Ok we are getting you in to see a doctor immediately." Ellie says as she drags me up to the window where there's a nurse sitting at a desk.

"Hi. Hospital card please" she says through the glass. Ellie explains the whole situation to the nurse. She types something on her computer screen and tells me to have a seat in the waiting room.

Minutes later a man in scrubs enters through the large door that bring you into the temporary hospital rooms where you see your doctor.

"Alyssa Bennett?" He asks looking around the room. I get up, with Ellie's help. I see him walking over to me pushing a wheelchair. He helps me into the wheelchair and pushes me into a room where he lifts me onto a bed and Ellie sits on a chair next to me.

"The doctor will be in shortly. If anything goes wrong, there should be some nurses outside the room." I think he directed the last part to Ellie. He smils at me as he exits the room. I'm overcome with nervousness about what my fate will be.
