The house is really quiet which is weird for having a newborn. I roll over in bed and I thought I'd be rolling into Tommy but he's not there. I open my eyes and sit up to see that I'm in our bedroom alone, that's really weird considering it's like four o'clock in the morning. I stretch and yawn before walking out the bedroom door in hopes to find my boyfriend.

I open the door to Melody's room and find it dark. I carefully turn on light to see that my baby isn't in her crib either. I mean I assume that Tommy and Melody are together but I'm still kinda worried about them.

I start down the stairs and walk into the kitchen. Well, there I find my daughter with her father. Tommy is sitting at the table feeding our baby with only one light on. He's bouncing her gently and I smile, I lean in the doorway and watch them.

"You sure eat a lot, and you shit a lot, and you cry a lot. But tell you the truth I don't care, I mean it's four in the morning and I'm awake feeding you were a month ago I would've been asleep. I mean mommy usually does this stuff but she needs her sleep too." Tommy tells her quietly and I smile. "You're going to get so big and you're going to have the eye of everyone boy out there, then daddy is going to have to scared the shit out of them."

"I think you have a little bit of time before you have to scare boys away." I say and he looks back at me and he smiles.

"You scared me." He admits and I sit down beside him. "I thought you were sleeping."

"I was then I woke up and you weren't there so I got kinda worried." I explain.

"You worry about me, how sweet." Tommy laughs and I smile. "You wanna see mommy?" He asks Melody before handing her off to me.

"Hi baby." I beam and she smiles. "Were you having fun with daddy?"

"Of course she was." He says matter of factly. "I'm the best daddy on the face of this planet." He laughs and I smile.

"I know you are." I say and he kisses my lips. "I love you."

"I love you too." Tommy admits and touches our daughter's face. "She's so perfect, I love her so much."

"I can't believe she spent nine months growing inside me." I admit. "She's been here a month and I still don't believe it."

"The time flew, I mean I feel like we just brought her home but it's been a month." He says with a laugh. "It's been a month and we still love each other, must be a good sign."

"Must be." I laugh. "I'll always love you, Tommy." I admit and he smiles.

"And I'll always love you, Katie." Tommy assures me and kisses my cheek. "And I'll always love you, Melody."

"I never thought I could love anything as much as I love you, Melody. Not even your daddy." I laugh and he smacks my head gently only making me laugh harder. "But I truly love you, baby."

"Thank you for that little vote of confidence." He laughs and I smile.

"You're welcome." I laugh and look down to see Melody asleep. "Looks like baby girl is ready to go back to bed."

"So am I." Tommy yawns and stands up. "Come on."

We all go back upstairs and I put Melody back in her room, we all wake up a few hours later. Tommy has to go to the studio and Hannah invited me over to the condo that she lives in with CC, Bret, Bobby, and Rikki.

Luckily the Poison line up wasn't home so I didn't have to worry about arguing with CC in front of my baby. Hannah is so insanely interested in Melody it's kinda funny.

"Who's a pretty girl, huh?" She coos and I roll my eyes. "Yeah, you are. Yes you are, Melody." Hannah plays with my daughters feet. "She looks like Tommy."

"Okay so in one breath you say she's pretty and in another you say she looks like Tommy, you gotta thing for my boyfriend or something?" I ask with a laugh and she rolls her eyes.

"I have a thing for guitarists, remember?" Hannah asks me.

"Right, you want in my brother's pants." I remember and she laughs.

"If I wasn't with CC, I'd be your sister in law." She states.

"Eddie is seven years older than us and married." I remind her.

"What's your point?" Hannah wonders.

"Valerie would kick your ass." I laugh.

We talk for a little while about stupid girl shit that hurts my head a little bit. Hannah starts asking about Melody's godparents but that's not something that Tommy and I have really talked about. I think she was kinda hinting about wanting to be the godmother but I don't know how I'd feel about my baby being in the care of CC Deville, i love Hannah to death and she's my best friend on this planet but I honestly can't stand him. If I was going to assign godparents I'd assign one of my brothers or even Tommy's sister or our parents.

"We haven't even talked about that." I admit.

"Well what if something happens to you and Tommy?" Hannah wonders. "I mean don't you want what's best for Melody?"

"Of course I do." I say quickly. "Tommy and I are young and we're just trying to make everything work."

Hannah is quiet for a second like she's thinking of a response. She kinda laughs and looks up at me.

"I keep forgetting that you're as young as you are. I mean you're older than me but not by a lot but you're easily the most mature at least out of you, me, Zac, Ace, and Beck," Hannah says and I smile. "You're doing everything with Melody right. You're a good mom and Tommy is a good dad."

"I've had practice, I mean you've met Eddie, Alex, David, and Michael. I know how to take care of children, especially the overgrown ones."
