I wake up the next morning to my phone ringing. That's weird no one ever calls me.
"Hello?"I ask.
"Hey Grace!"I hear from the other side of the phone.
"W-who is this?"I ask.
"It's your cousin Jenny,"she laughs.
"Oh. So what do you need?"
"Nothing really just wanted to say hi."
"Oh okay."
"Yeah so have you made any friends yet?"
"Nope. But there is this guy that might actually want to be friends."
"Really had he talked to you."
"Yeah we talked a little in math class and I went over to his house. But when I went over there he was pretty rude then when I tried to get his attention from my window but when he saw me he closed his curtains... I think he might actually hate me like everyone else does. How stupid can I be?"
"Well that sucks. I would really like to talk more but I gotta go. I'll talk to you later, bye."
"Ok bye."
Colby's POV
I couldn't sleep last night I was thinking about what happened yestarday with Grace. I felt bad but then again she doesn't have to know anything about me. I hope she doesn't ever try to talk to me again. I just want to be left alone like I have been.
Grace's POV
I really want to be friends with Colby. I mean neither of us have friends so maybe this is a sign for us to become friends... and I will make sure it happens even if he doesn't think we should be friends.
