Chapter 1

[Alexis' P.O.V]

My room that was once filled with posters, paintings, clothes, perfumes, make-up and all my memories was now empty. I can't believe we're moving after 16 years of living here, it's too special to go. I take a last glance at my room and slowly close the door, walking down the stairs.

Two trucks were parked infront of our house ready to take all our belongings and move them to our new house in Cheshire. I'm happy but not at the same time, a fresh start is always good but memories will always last. 

I hear my dad shouting from across the room ''You guys ready to go?'' his voice echoes.  ''Yep!'' I reply. I think  I am anyway. My mum, dad, my little sister Megan and I get in the car and drive off.

I plug my earphones into my phone and listen to calm, soothing music to try and clear my brain. I couldn't help but think about school throughout the whole car journey. I wonder if i'd make friends..I wonder if people are actually nice there. I wonder if I can fit in well. 

After what seems like hours we finally get to the house, its nice and small with a little pretty garden full of daisies and tulips. 

''Oh, hi there! You must be our new neighbours'' a woman says enthusiastically.

''Im Anne, by the way, these are my sons Harry and Ross, and my daughter Gemma. Welcome!'' Wow she was one happy lady. I smile at her as we exchange handshakes.

''Im Alexis, this is my mum and dad, and my little sister Megan.''

I couldn't help but think about how handsome her sons where. One of them wore a black plain shirt, skinny jeans, boots. His lips were pink and dimples poked from either side of his cheeks everytime he smiled. His hair was so messy and curly, just the way.. I like it. And the other one wore a buttoned up shirt and grandpa sweater vest shirts with a tie. He had neatly combed hair and wore big glasses, they were both so different.

My thoughts were interupted by Anne again ''Stay over for dinner! Lets get to know eachother more.'' She asks with a smile. I swear if everyone was like this woman there would be world peace.

''Oh, that'd be lovely!'' my mum replies.

This should be interesting.
