[Ross' P.O.V]

I'm going to apologise to Alexis today. I have nothing to apologise for, but it's the first step to getting her trust. I'm going to come home from apologising, and try to bond with Harry. That's the second step to accomplishing my plan.

I gather my books from my locker and put them neatly in my bag. I purposely take longer because I know Alexis should be hear any second, her lesson is right here. I sound like a stalker, but it's just experience from taking her everywhere in her first week. The first week before Harry had to interfere and ruin everything.

I see her come over in the corner of my eye and bump into her.

''Oh sorry, didn't see you there'' I lie.

''It's fine'' She smiles, surprised by my action.

''Listen I just wanted to apologise for my rude behaviour, I mean, I get why you said yes'' I try to act as nervous and trembly as possible.

''Wow, I thought you'd never talk to me'' She laughs and I break a smile.

''It's all good?'' I say.

''Friends!'' She exclaims reaching out her hand to shake mine. Oh the friendzone. I shake it anyway, it wouldn't hurt I guess.

''Can we hang out today?'' As desperate as this sounds, I need to.

''I'm sort of making plans with Harry, sorry'' I can tell she found it difficult saying that. Good. I hope she feels guilty. I try not to sound too dissapointed, though.

''Oh, then tomorrow could work?''

''Yeah, I think I'm free'' She nods. ''We could go to my house-''

''No, let's go to mine'' I interrupt.

''Harry lives there as well'' She states the obvious. I know what she means. My boyfriend lives there how can I hang out with you in the same place.

''I'm sure he won't mind'' I reply, closing the locker. I start walking to avoid any further conversation. She stumbles along, not satisfied.

''But Ross'' She whines. ''Things will be awkward!''

''They won't'' I know they will.

We get in class and sit down, a few desks apart from eachother. I drop a few hints that we're friends now. I occasionally smile, wave, ask her questions, laugh even if it's not funny. Harry shoots me a death glare everytime and I realise I have accomplished what I'm going for. I have to show Harry that we're just friends, he can't see me as a threat, yet.

[Harry's P.O.V]

Can Ross just give up already. She's mine now and he can't do anything about it. He's such a try hard it's almost funny.

''Don't trust atoms- they make everything!'' He says, playfully.

''Didn't you say that on the dinner table the first time we met?'' She narrows her eyes, smirking a bit. Ha, she realises how unoriginal he is.

''It's so funny I had to say it again'' He chuckles nervously, looking down at his page to write. Smoothly done Ross, but not smooth enough.

Ross looks around everytime he says something to her and he's not just doing it for the fun of it, he's trying to make sure I saw each and every move. If he's trying to make me jealous, congratulations it's working.

**

''Listen, you need to stay away from him'' I say, as we cross the road. She lifts her head a bit from her mouth burried in her scarf to talk.
