''No.'' Ross states, pulling her back down on the sofa.
''What the hell? Yes.'' I snap back, pulling her back up.
''No.'' He pulls her back down again.
''Yes.'' ''No.'' ''Yes.''
''Fine, yes.'' Ross says.
''No!'' I yell without thinking and he smirks in triumph.
''If you carry on doing this you will rip my arm off.'' Alexis blankly says, snapping Ross and I back into the reality of the fact she's not a doll.
''I'm sorry baby.'' I softly say, letting go. ''But you're coming with me.''
''Alexis, I've liked you for longer.'' Ross says, getting closer and closer to her and she leans back uncomfortably. I grab him from the collar again and slam him onto the hard wall, leaving him dizzy already.
''What part of 'get your own' don't you understand?'' I harshly growl before punching him in the jaw. I've wanted to do this for so long, but something kept stopping me.
''Harry! Stop it!'' Alexis shouts, trying to pull me off him. This is what was stopping me, Alexis. I finally let go of him, still looking at him. Blood was running down his face and my knuckles were stained as well.
''Are you okay?'' She says, lifting his head slightly off the floor. He nods slowly.
''Are you okay,'' I mimick. ''He was about to let you cheat on me and you ask if he's okay.'' I shake my head in disblief.
''Listen, Ross.'' Her tone more serious. ''You're a great friend, really. I try not to break your heart but you just keep coming back at me.''
Ross just nods, understandingly. I hope he feels guilty. You terrible, terrible brother.
''Y-yeah.'' He finally speaks. ''It's always Harry.'' His words familiar. The words from the night he found out she went out with me.
''It's not that. You'll find someone who likes you for who you are.'' She says and he finally sits up, touching the blood stains on his jaw and looking at his hand.
''You didn't have to dress up like this.'' She says, signaling his body and he blushes furiously. What a little girl.
''Now that we've got it sorted, let's go.'' I take her hand again. I've tried to say this for the past 5 minutes and it's not happening.
''Fine.'' She gives in, smiling at Ross to make him feel slightly better and he gets up, trying to adjust his clothes. He can dress like me all he wants but he's never going to un-nerd himself.
I take my leather jacket off the hanger and hand Alexis her coat. We step outside and the cold air makes me shiver.
''I knew he'd do that.'' I bring back the subject. I fume with anger everytime I remember it. ''You told me it wouldn't happen and it was about to.''
''I don't know? He came in. I thought we were just hanging out.'' She defends herself, putting her hands in her pocket.
I chuckle, not just a normal chuckle, but a chuckle that lasted for a while. A chuckle that wasn't just finding something funny, but ridiculous as well. ''You can't just 'hang out' with a guy that has had feelings for you, as a guy I know that doesn't work.''
''Yeah, I've learnt that the hard way.''
''Promise me you won't ever talk to him.'' I look at her. Her cheeks were a light shade of pink and so was the tip of her nose. Her eyes were a blue-grey colour and I always find myself lost in them.
''I- okay, I promise.'' She says, giving me the most forced smile.
[Alexis' P.O.V]
''I promise.'' I force a smile and immediatley regret my words. I can't not talk to Ross. He was just so, I don't know, those people that you like talking to. I don't know why, I don't want to know why but I feel like he's not just a friend to me. I can't help but think, if Harry wasn't there, it could've happened. A kiss could've happened. I feel disgusted by own thoughts.
''Why do you look like you ate something really nasty?'' Harry says, observing my face. I burst out laughing and his eyes smile slightly.
''I just pictured eating fish.'' I say teasingly.
''That's actually a really horrible thing to say.'' Harry says seriously. His face suddenly changes from humour, to hurt. ''Why don't you ever tell fish jokes with me?''
''It just sort of happened, he started it and I went along with the theme.'' He rolls his eyes at my excuse. It was weird how Harry could go from this playful, cheeky boy to an over-protective, harsh man I didn't recognise. I guess that's what is intriguing about him.
''What's the difference between a piano and a fish?'' I try to lighten up the mood, the joke begging for his forgiveness. He smiles a bit.
''What?''
''You can tune a piano but you can't tuna fish.'' We both tilt our head back in hysterics, slapping our knees.
I really am glad I met him.

Plan A hasn't worked. But no worries, there are 25 more letters in the alphabet. Trying to get her to like me through trying to look 'cool' was herendous. I felt so uncomfortable, the tight jeans were making it so hard to move. Everytime I moved, that stupid necklace would dangle up and down. My hair kept getting in my eyes and I had to act like it was okay. I wasn't wearing my glasses so I was already blind and the stupid hair made it even harder to see.
It went well, it went well until this idiot of a brother decided to come downstairs. And humiliate me, for the 100th time. I felt like such a girl, blushing, getting stuffed onto the wall so easily and it hits me girls don't really like that.
Alexis' words sort of hurt me earlier. This is coming from a boy who gets picked on everyday, I have practically trained myself to not let words get to me.
'You'll find someone who will like you for who you are.'
This won't happen even if I was the last man standing. Because I can't get her, I'm going to keep trying.
Plan B, to try to make her jealous. I'm going to make her feel so bad about Harry being with other girls, it'll ruin their whole relationship. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I will figure something out.
