[Ross' P.O.V]

I stay silent for a moment. So much for my 'if I can get an A in my english essay I can come up with an excuse'.

''Well?'' Harry says impatiently and I let out a nervous cough.

''Well, I was coming home from chess club, and I came across Alexis luckily.'' I felt bad for missing chess today, actually. They were the finals and I wanted to go.

''Don't you take the bus?'' He narrows his eyes, before taking off his jacket and throwing himself on the bed, staring at the cieling.

''It was a coincidence, today I wanted to go for a walk.''

''A very rare coincidence.'' He was still suspicious, but didn't seem to get angry.

''Thanks for trying, to you know, help her.'' Harry quitely mutters. I'm sorry, what was that? An actual 'thanks' from the Harry Styles? I'm marking this day on my calnder.

''No problem. I knew you'd be angry if anything happened to her. But I should be thanking you.'' I honestly say.

Even though he's annoying me with this whole Alexis situation, I have to give him credit for what he's done. It takes guts to hit a big guy right in the nose. Harry nods when I thank him, before speaking again.

''What..what did they do to her?'' His shaky voice asks.

''Nothing at all. You came just in time, he was just trying to make you think he did something.'' I try to reassure him, referring to him stroking her hair. ''He just beat me up, still slightly painful.'' I poke my bruise as a demonstration and twitch.

''What did Alexis do when they..you know, beat you up?'' His questions were carefully stuctured, he tried to bring out every detail in me to know how Alexis feels.

''She was just aprehensive.'' I say, casually.

''And what does that mean?'' He asks. Stupid people these days. I fought the urge to call him anything.

''Shocked.''

''Oh.'' Is all he answers. It was clear that he was still worried about her, even though she's fine now. It's a weird thing. It shows strong affection, and that's a good sign for my plans.

He goes to downstairs and I take this as an opportunity to write in my notebook. This notebook has all my plans to ruin the relationship. I keep it safe in a secret place. Well, it isn't really secret, it's just my book shelf. But Harry doesn't even give books a second glance. I turn on the first page.

Plan 1: To dress up like Harry. Did it work? no. Was I still so close to connecting with her? yes. It was so uncomfortable. The things I have to go through to ruin their relationship. Never again, I've learnt from my mistakes. (clearly Harry hasn't)

I take out my pen and start writing.

Plan 2: Well..it was interesting. Tricking Mai into thinking Harry likes her was great, it got Alexis really angry, storming out of that party. She said she needs 'time' and I'm pretty sure that's a break up. Now I have to make my move again, before Harry does.

Harry walks in suddenly and I close the notebook shut.

''Forgot my..blanket.'' He picks it up, his eyes fixed on me.

''Oh, you scared me there.'' I attempt to laugh it off.

[Alexis' P.O.V]

As soon as I unlock the door Megan runs over to me before embrassing me tightly in her arms.

''Where we you? I was so worried! I had to tell mum you were with Harry.'' She still scans my face and then my body, checking for anything unusual.

''I'm okay. I just stayed at the party longer than I expected.'' I lie, my eyes avoiding hers.

''Harry begs to differ.''

''What? He came here?''

Ofcourse he'd come here. He was the typical protective type, I always pretend like I don't like it, but I love it. The way his jaw tenses, his lips purse together, his eyebrows pull together. I can't help but think about how he could've been, running around, looking for me. Looking lost as ever. Guilt fills my thoughts immediately. But he kissed someone, right in front of me, why should I feel guilty?

''Yeah. He told me he was looking for you, I offered to come but he told me not to.''

He shouldn't have done that. He's just made my little sister worried, more than ever, and  I can't get away with anything I'm saying now.

''So are you going to tell me what happened or what?'' She asks again, it was like she was talking to herself.

''I got lost, somewhere in the forest. Then Harry found me and took me home.'' I start moving towards the stairs, hoping she'd believe what I'm saying and move on.

''Oh,'' She finally replies in relief. ''Well, I'm glad your safe.''

''Thanks. Listen, whatever you do, don't tell mum.'' I warn Megan, pointing my finger at her direction.

''Why not? You-'' She starts and I cut her off.

''Just don't.'' I simply say. She nods and  pretends to zip her lips up and lock them, throwing the key.

I can't wait to take a hot bath. That's all I seemed to do when I have problems. The warm water just relaxes my muscles and I adored the sweet scent of the bath soap. It cleared my mind, I feel like that's what everyone needs once in a while. Or more. I need it right now because the thoughts won't leave my mind. I keep replaying the scene of Mai getting closer to him. Of him not pulling back. The scene where I was viciously grabbed by a scary-looking guy, him holding my mouth with his sweaty palms to stop me from screaming. Ross stumbling across, his weak body trying to shield me, which still left me confused as to why he was even there. Harry's familiar face making an appearance in the alley.

I hated this. I hated the mix of feelings I had. I had anger towards him, but then suddenly felt okay with him when he was there. It's not okay. He has to learn he won't get anything he wants in life. Feelings are stupid. I hate feelings.
