[Ross' P.O.V]

I take Harry's shower as an opportunity to catch up on things. As soon as he closed that door, I rushed over to the frame he had on his nightstand. So many pictures of him with Alexis. His happiness made me even more determained to pay him back, so thanks for the present, Alexis. I felt like smashing it on the ground. It was obvious it was a cliche last minute plan, but if she was with me, she wouldn't have to do that. She'd automatically know what I want because I'm an open person. I was so much better for her than Harry will ever be.

I didn't spend last night coming up with a plan like I usually do, so I have to come up with a quickfire. I look around the room. Baseball bat? A bit physical. Rubbish bin? Inappropriate. Phone?

Phone.

I pick his phone up excitedly and swipe it open. I smile to myself a bit, remembering Harry's rant about setting passwords on phones and how pointless they are, they're not now are they? The text messages become the root my plan and I press on Alexis' number, my thumb roaming around the keypad, wondering what to text her. I don't have much time so it has to be quick.

Hey, it's Harry-

No, she already knows that. I erase the text.

Hii, I'm sorry but I need to cancel-

Harry wouldn't cancel it for the world. Then I finally come up with a good idea, erasing again.

Hiii, meet me at the ice rink at 5.x

I press send. If she goes there and realises Harry isn't even coming, it'll ruin the whole night. I'm a genius. The phone almost instantly vibrates and I realise she's replied, solid proof that she spends her life on her phone.

Oh, we're not meeting at the lake anymore?x The text reads.

Nopee, ice rink it is. I reply and turn the phone off. So they've already made plans, even better.

Now I have to hide the phone somewhere, surely if he doesn't have it he'll want to borrow mine or Gemma's. Probably not mine actually.

I hear the shower slowly stop dripping and quickly slide the phone under my bed. If there's one thing I've learnt, it's that I can't hide things safely anymore. I take some of my clothes and stuff them under as well. They look so..untidy, I hated it.

He steps out of the steamy bathroom with a towel around his waist and he eyes me suspiciously as I stand stick still with my arms behind my back.

''Can you get out? I'm going to get dressed.'' His request sounded more like a statement than a question, but his tone was softer than the days before, good mood I presume. I oblige and stumble out of the room, proud of my quick thinking. Sometimes unplanned events work out best, or so I hope they do anyway.

[Harry's P.O.V]

I can't even look at him the same anymore, every time I walk into the room he stands there awkwardly glancing at me and I can't help but feel anxious. He's given me trust issues. I doubt he has anything in mind now anyway, he's taunted me enough and surely he feels guilty about it.

I get dressed, making sure I look a little less casual than I do. I throw on a little bow tie , my attempts of trying to impress her are so obvious, because it's out of my comfort zone. I found these old shoes in my closet yesterday and thanfully, they still fit. I take Ross' little hankie and use them to clean my shoes, he won't notice. I finish with it and realise its basically all black because of the dirt. Maybe he will notice actually, I think, throwing it behind me.
