[Harry's P.O.V]
It's already sunset and I cuss under my breath. I had hoped we could sit here and watch the beautiful orange pink sky at sunset. Well, I was hoping she'd watch it and I'd watch her watch it. I enjoyed watching her react to things, she was such an intrigued person.
What am I doing here? I ask myself. I'm pathetically thinking about how things should have gone without actually doing anything. My subsconsious answers me.
She's probably at home. I try to shake off the thoughts of a possible sobbing Alexis thinking I wouldn't turn up. If only I could've found that damn phone, it was no where to be seen and I clearly remember placing it on the nightstand next to the collage she got me. Maybe this morning at school went better than the actual date tonight.
I finally arrive in front of her house. I ring the door bell and shuffle around uncomfortably as Megan opens the door. This situation seemed really familar, just asking Megan where Alexis was at her doorstep.
''Can I help?'' Megan puts her hands in her onesie pocket.
''Yeah, um,'' I stutter. ''Is Alexis in here?''
''No,'' She shakes her head, I feel like she somewhat realises this situation happened again. ''I thought she was with you. Please don't tell me she left you at a party again and ended up getting practically kidnapped by a group of chavs.''
''For starters, no,'' I squint my eyes at her as the memory of seeing the large men surround her whilst Ross lying on the floor helplessly come flooding in. ''Where could she be?'' I sigh.
''I dunno,'' She shrugs.
''Helpful.'' I rub my temples.
''Just come on in,'' Megan rolls her eyes and I step into the house. I don't intend on sitting, so I stand at the door step because it's freezing outside and this suit has done nothing to insulate me.
''It's our six month anniversary, I told her to meet me at the lake but she's not there.'' I blurt out.
''So? Call her and find out where she is.''
[Alexis' P.O.V]
By this point, I have lined up so many times for tickets, hoping that Harry would appear but as I got closer to buying them, I retreated. A thought in my mind kept telling me that getting two tickets for one is no use.
''Hi,'' A deep voice startles me and I turn to see the guy from earlier. His features were attractive, he had a prominent jaw line with wide blue eyes and I feel intimidated. His hair was really similar to Harry's.
''Listen, I'm sorry I-'' I start. I assume he would've come back to start something, how naive.
''It's fine,'' He interrupts. ''I was just wondering why you're sat by yourself? Not a cheesy pick up line or anything, but how come you've been here for such a long time?''
''I'm Leo, by the way.'' He adds. Leo. That name suits him a lot.
''Alexis.'' I tell him. ''I'm just waiting for someone but he isn't turning up. I think I'm just going to leave.'' I feel a bit embarrassed telling a stranger this.
''I don't see why he wouldn't turn up,'' He eyes me and I feel my cheeks heat up. ''But the same happened to me, you know.''
''Really?'' I don't seem to be buying it. But then again, he was walking around with nobody too.
''Yeah she never turns up,'' He rubs at the back of his neck.
''Oh.'' I say. ''I should probably go home, maybe something's wrong-''
''Okay,'' He interrupts me. I turn to leave and he stops me.
''Before you go, here's my number, tell me how things go?'' He hands me a piece of paper and I look at in disbelief, I still nod even though I doubt I would.
It's pouring outside as I'm forced to stand in the heavy rain because the bus stop shelter is full. I feel like crying and my soaking hair is sticking to my face, which isn't helping. I finally get in and sit.
I finally get home to see an anxious Harry and Megan pacing back and forth in the living room. I feel anger fuming in me.
''Why haven't you been answering calls?'' Harry frowns.
''Excuse me, you haven't called me once!'' I snap back.
''Because I lost my phone somewhere, I called on Megan's-'' He tries to explain himself as he tugs at his hair in frustration.
''I'll leave you guys to it,'' Megan uncomfortably shrugs and walks out of the room.
''Where were you? I waited for so long.'' I try to keep my voice from cracking but I fail myself miserably.
''You weren't at the lake when I went there,'' He sighs. What?
''You said to meet at the ice rink.'' I'm suddenly not annoyed, rather suspicious.
''Ross,'' Harry and I say at the same time.
''I can't believe he'd do that,'' I feel a tear forming in my eye and I try to keep it in. At first, Ross' anger was understandable, but now it's reached a peak. I feel like if I see him right now I'd just lose it.
''Come here,'' Harry opens his arms and I burry my head in his neck. ''Don't worry. He's going to pay for it,''
Harry's unbelievably calm and I assume it's because he doesn't want to make me feel any worse, or maybe he expected something. Either way I enjoyed being in his arms and taking in the scent of him.
''He ruined it. He ruined our day.'' I look up to him.
''I know,'' He takes a strand of my hair and puts it behind my ear. ''I'll make up for it tomorrow, I promise.''
''Thank you,'' I sniff. I felt so weak and pathetic for crying. ''I can't wait to get him back.''
''Alexis? Actually thinking about revenging Ross for once? No way.'' Harry chuckles and I join him. If you would've told me to get him back 3 months ago, I would've laughed in your face.
''How about I take you out now?'' Harry questions.
''What?'' I ask in disbelief. It's so dark outside and I couldn't think of a single place that would still be open right now.
''You heard me,'' He takes my arm and drags me to the doorway.
