50 Days To Fall In Love (Modern Reylo au)

Day 11

Today Rey decided to walk to the park today. Not a good idea. Why? It started to rain. Hard.

She retreated to a gazebo near the front of the park to get out of the heavy rain. It didn't seem like it would end anytime soon. She was tired, wet, and bored. Rey didn't have standing in a gazebo trying to avoid heavy rain on her plan for the day.

Maybe she could run for it? It was across some streets. So she did, or at least tried to.

Not the best idea either.

There was traffic, a lot of it. Cars honked and beeped at her. Drivers started to shout and scream. It was chaos.

So she went back to the park. It was either die on the road or sit in a gazebo for another hour. She decided on the second option: Rey didn't want to die.

She was about to head to the gazebo when she heard someone.

"Rey? What are you doing out here?"

It was Ben.

"Ben? Hey! I was just trying to take a walk...and it started to rain."

He chuckled.

"Oh. Come in."

"Really? Thanks!"

Quickly Rey got into the car, blushing, and drenched in rain.

"Come on, we could head to my place for a little."

"You can't just drop me off at my apartment?"

"I can but wouldn't you rather watch Princess Bride with me?"

"Princess Bride!!! I Princess Bride!"

"Okay let's go."

After 30 minutes of driving they arrived back at his home.

He owned an apartment but it was much nicer and much neater than hers. Everything was sleek, black, and organized. It was decorated very modern and chic. The man had taste.

"Here sit down on the couch, I'll put the movie in."

"Okay yay!"

Ben placed the disc into the movie player and joined Rey at the couch.

After the movie ends...

"OMG THAT WAS SO GOOD! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!"

"Glad you had fun Rey."

Ben then started to laugh and Rey joined in as well. It was nice for Ben to laugh.

He hadn't in a long time.

It felt good.
