Today it was time to run some errands.
Poe and Finn haven't been home and haven't been shopping in a while either. Whatever was left in the fridge was moldy and just plain gross. Grabbing her wallet Rey made her way out the apartment door. The apartment was small and messy but it was home to Rey.
She walked over to her scooter and started the engine. It was worn and old but she loved it. It is her prized possession.
Rey made her way to the grocery store with wallet and hand. She walked in clutching a list of food she needed to get.
- water
- eggs
- milk
- fruits
- vegetables
- popcorn
- chips
- cold cuts
- bread
- cookies
This was going to take a while. The store was pretty big and Rey needed to find everything before Poe and Finn get home. They had a huge appetite and liked to eat whenever they got home from a trip.
Rey made her way into the dairy aisle and saw a familiar person. As she was grabbing the milk she heard her name.
"Rey?"
She turned around sharply to see who it is.
"Kylo?"
He was casually dressed in a black tee and jeans and was grabbing some milk as well.
"I see you need to go food shopping?"
"Yeah my roommates love to eat."
"Who are they?"
She was confused. Why would he want to know her roommates.
"Finn and Poe Dameron. But why did you want to know?"
"Finn?! FN?!"
"Yeah. What happened?"
"Nevermind. I best be going, see you later Rey."
"See you Kylo."
Her cheeks flushed pink as he walked off.
"Boy, is he something,"
She muttered as she gathered up the remaining items on the list.
