The next day Rey decided to meet Ben up at Jakku Eats.
"Hey Ben!"
"Rey."
After greeting each other they both went to get a drink, and sit down somewhere they could talk.
"Rey do you love Kyle?"
"What? Ben what are you talking about?"
"Do you love Kyle?"
"Of course of love Kyle! After his parents leave we might be moving in with each other."
"Moving in? Rey you haven't known him for that long."
"So? I care for him and that's what matters! He actually understood when I told him that I was in the foster system, that I didn't have a family!
Ben was surprised, she never told him this.
"He actually did! We care for each other and we are moving in! I don't know why you're suddenly questioning me, before you were giving advice about this and I finally listened. I'm not coming back from this."
"But Rey you've never uttered the words I love you to him ever. I bet you never sent them in a text. Why are you with someone you don't love?"
"I love Kyle and you can't be the judge of that! Now excuse me, I have to go be with someone that cares."
Rey storms out of the cafe and out onto the sidewalk. He follows her out.
"Rey I think you're making a mistake with this."
"Me? Making a mistake? That's funny. My relationship is no ones business but mine. Bye Kylo Ren."
Rey stormed off towards Kyles house. Ben felt a pang in his stomach:
She had called him Kylo Ren.
