I'm still fuming as we approach the archery range.

"Chiron!" I yell, startling the archers (again). "Get over here!"

Chiron sighs. "I apologize, children; I'll try to fit in our lesson later today."

The archers grumble as they dejectedly hang up their bows and shuffle out of the room. Before they all leave, I hear a few "Again?"s and a "Geez, cool it, blondie." I glare at the group, daring anybody who calls me "blondie" to do it again, causing the rest of the campers to almost run out.

Soon it's just Chiron, Percy, and me.

"How could you not tell me you wiped Percy's memory?! Sure, I would have found out eventually, but still!"

Chiron sighs again, and Percy is looking between the two of us like a very interesting tennis match.

"Child, it was for Percy's health."

"For his health?! Come on, even Mr. D comes up with lamer excuses."

Chiron frowns, then turns to Percy. "Percy, can you excuse us? Travis should be outside to show you to your cabin."

I bite my lip. The first time Percy came to camp, the last Hermes head counselor, Luke Castellan, showed Percy to his cabin.

Percy frowns, but doesn't argue as he walks outside. I hear indecipherable muttering, probably Travis and Percy, then Percy yelling in surprise and Travis cracking up.

If there's one thing I've learned at camp, it's never to shake Travis Stoll's hand.

Enough said.

I fix Chiron with a steely glare. "Looks like you have some explaining to do."

Ooh, my first cliffhanger! You guys are gonna have to sit through another Percy chapter to see where I'm going with this.
