Marinette's breathing wasn't calm. Tears were rolling down her cheek like a waterfall. Her hair was all over the place, sweat running down in streams from her forehead.

"It was just a-a dream," she cried. "Just a dream,"

But she wasn't sure. He did it once before. To make her think it was a dream, when it clearly wasn't.

She quickly grabbed her phone from the nightstand, dialing her mother's number as soon as she got it.

"Mother, pick up," her silent cries were heard. When she didn't pick up after third beep, Marinette got worried even more than she was.

"Mari, dear? It's two in the morning," Sabine yawned. "What seems to be the matter?"

A hard burden fell from Marinette's shoulders as she started crying. "Sweetie, what's wrong?"

"I'm fine, maman. Just a nightmare," Marinette sobbed.

"Well, if you want to tell me I'm here," Sabine smiled at her daughter, even if Marinette couldn't see it.

"Are..-Are you and papa alright?" she asked.

"We are fine. He's snoring here right beside me," Sabine assured her.

"That's all I need to know," Marinette sighed. "I'll talk to you later. G'night, maman,"

The line went dead and Marinette sighed in relief, flopping down on her bed again. "I'm glad it was just a dream,"

She couldn't sleep, so she made coffee and sat down in front of a TV. She didn't turn it on, though. She went through all the details of her dream.

Could Chat Noir be this evil? He was a killer after all. A ruthless killer. And a criminal.

And she did a right thing, when she rejected him.

Right?

Her head was a mess and she realized it was four in the morning. She couldn't sleep, she just walked on the balcony (first checking if anyone was there), before she sat down on a chair she had there and looked at the night sky.

She looked down on the street, seeing a man watching her. Her eyes widened, but the stalker just hid in the shadows. It was only for a moment. She was probably imagining it.

Her brain was tired, it was possible to be seeing things.

One cup of coffee helped her stay awake. She sat down at her desk and opened up a sketch book, she didn't touch for the past week. She opened it on a blank page and stared at it for a moment.

She took a pencil before she started drawing a skirt and a hoodie.

Both of them were black and green, the same color as Adrien's outfit and eyes.

She didn't even realized she was thinking about him. She just kept drawing. When she got the sketch done, she figured out that she had the material she needed. Black and green.

She smiled as she started sewing pieces together, making them look amazing as they were done.

Marinette saw it was bright outside, but she didn't realize it was already noon.

Skirt was green and there were black paw prints on the edge of it. Hoodie was black and a little too big for her, but it was matching the skrit. It had cat ears and a little pocket in a shape of a paw print.

Only when she was done, she saw how much she actually misses him. Was it possible that this kitty made his way to her heart?

She shook her head, that wasn't possible. She would never fall for a criminal.

She tried on the hoodie and the skirt, along with the matching green shirt that was covered with hoodie and leggings. She also thought about black shoes she had would do a great job at the outfit.

Marinette looked in the mirror and realized in how much of detail she went, when she was making Adrien's jacket.

She missed him more than she would ever admit. She missed his green eyes, which always looked so happy around her, she missed his fluffy blond hair, which she never had the chance to touch. She missed his adorable laugh and the way their lips moved in sync, when they kissed.

Why was she feeling this way? This was not something you should feel for a criminal. But no matter how many times she reminded herself that he was a criminal, she couldn't bring herself to stop missing him. It was like she ran away from him, but he took her heart along the way, when she wasn't careful.

But when she remembered what kind of a monster he could be, shivers ran down her spine. Was it possible to be so bipolar?

She remembered how he pushed her against the wall, threatening her. How he promised he wouldn't let her parents live if she didn't become his.

Then that led to her dream. Was that really going to happen? Was it just a dream or would he really do such a thing? She took a deep breath and closed her eyes to steady her breathing.

She bit her lips as she tried to take off the hoodie, but was stopped when she heard a knock on the door.

Marinette was confused. Was it her parents or Alya? But Alya had a thing with Nino and her parents were busy in a bakery.

She looked through the keyhole, only to see nothing.

She sighed as she opened the door carefully, not seeing anyone. Marinette opened the door completely, revealing nobody behind it.

But she did saw a letter on a doormat. She carefully picked it up.

'Dear princess,

meet me at the Eiffel tower at 13.30 (1.30 pm). Come alone and if you tell anyone about this, someone you love will die.

with love,

Chat Noir xx'

She gulped as she looked at the clock. It was 13.15 (1.15 pm) and she had enough time to get there. Was he really able to kill someone she loved? Would he do that?

She forgot what she was wearing and ran towards the Eiffel tower, looking around for the familiar blond hair.

When she couldn't see anyone like him, she felt someone put a hand over her mouth, leaning down to her ear. "Scream and I'm not afraid to snap your neck,"

One thing was clear; this was NOT Adrien's voice.
