"Mr. Wayne, this is Mary Gately. She does some organization at LexCorp. Mary, this is Bruce Wayne, owner of Wayne Enterprises. Have you ever been to Gotham? Surely we will take a trip sometime." Lex introduces directing his attention towards a muscular man with dark hair.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Wayne." I greet shaking his hand. I continue to study the people around me while looking for Simon.
"Same to you Miss. Gately. Mr. Luthor seems to be awfully fond you. It makes me wish I had someone who would be as joyous." Mr. Wayne replies in a deep tone while flicking his blue eyes towards Lex.
"I wouldn't say I am, Mr. Wayne. I find myself being quite dull." I deny and start to claw the skin on my wrist.
"Oh don't lie Mary. It is something I can not tolerate. Anyways, this is Clark Kent. He works as a journalist for Daily Planet. Mr. Kent this is Mary Gately, as you've heard." Lex pulls me towards another tall dark haired man.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Kent." I say going through the same routine. I look at the clock.
Already eleven? '
"You can call me Clark, Miss. Gately." Clark greets while adjusting his glasses and smiles charmingly.
"Well, it was nice meeting you both, but I should being heading home." I say to both Clark and Mr. Wayne bowing my head. I head off to look for Lex, but can't find him and choose to just leave.
Surely he'll forgive me for not saying goodbye.
