Chapter 26: Other Half

Anakin's POV

"It is time to face your guilt, and know the truth," the father said.

The son and daughter flew in and landed on opposite sides of the giant circle. The son held Ahsoka, and the daughter had Obi Wan.

"Whatever it wants, don't do it master!" Ahsoka yelled.

"Let them go! I will not play your games!" I told the father.

"Oh, but I think you will. I have ordered my children to kill your friends. The question is, which one will you choose to save," he started, "your master, or your apprentice. You must now release your guilt and free yourself by choosing!"

"NO," I refused.

"Their powers are to strong for us Anakin! Save Ahsoka!" Obi Wan demanded.

"Let. Them. Go," I ordered.

"Only you can make my children release them," the father told me.

"ANAKIN! The planet is the force, use it," Obi Wan told me.

"You will let them go!" I said.

I used the force the push them with a strong strike. It was so strong the day turned into night and back into day with in seconds and the circle lit up like stars.

I forced the children to put down Ahsoka and Obi Wan and I started pulling them in and pushed them back.

They went to strike Ahsoka and Obi Wan who hair ignited their lightsabers. "DOWN!" I yelled pushing the son and daughter in front of me.

"ON YOUR KNEES!" I demanded. Continuing to use the force to control them and being them to their knees causing them to turn back into their human like form.

"And now you see who you truly are," The father said, "only the chosen one could take both my children."

I breathed heavily trying to catch my breath, "I've taken your test now fulfill your promise and let us go!"

"Aw but I said you and your friends, your missing someone," the father said.

"Huh, there's only the three of us," I said confused.

"Yes, but you forgot someone who is also powerful. Who I also need to know about. I brought her here, I sense she recently arrived actually," he said.

"LAZA?" I asked.

"Yes," he said.

"Huh?" Ahsoka asked.

"Go get her, and bring her to me," the father told me.

I turned around and went to find Laza. "Only him," the father ordered Ahsoka to stay. Of course, I have to go by myself.

I was running through the planet looking for Laza. I sensed her, she was close.

"LAZA!" I called.

"ANAKIN?" I heard her yelled.

I ran towards where her voice came from. I ended up crashing into her causing us each to fall down. "Ahhh," we each grunted from falling. I got up and helped her up.

"Anakin? So this is where you were," she said nodding.

"You're real right? You aren't the son or daughter trying to trick me right?" I asked.

"NO! I'm me!" She said, "and the son and daughter what the...?"

"No time to explain," I said.

"Okay," she shrugged.

"Before I take you up there come here," I said and kissed her, she kissed back softly before we broke the kiss.

Laza's POV

Anakin brought me back to 'the father'. I'm seriously confused!

"Have you discovered your power yet?" He asked.

"If you mean the force yes," I answered.

"So no," he said.

"Okay then," awkward much?

"The fire's found a home in you. Your powers will come out when you need them most and then you will have them when we you want. That is how it was foretold," he said.

"Foretold by who?" I asked. Oh my stars how confusing is this gonna be?

"The prophecy of course," he said.

"Prophecy?" I questioned.

"The Chosen One," he replied.

"But I'm not the Chosen One! Anakin is..." I said.

"Yes, you're the second half, the part the was burned off because it was said to be fake, but it's real. The Chosen One will form a strong bond with someone, that someone has a power that flames inside of them that will make them even more powerful than myself. So, even more powerful than the Chosen One. This person will save the Chosen One from any wrong destiny," he explained.

"How do you-" he cut me off.

"But you must be careful, your power is the strongest power, do not use it wrong," he added.

"Okay," I mumbled.

"But to prove this you must pass one of my tests," he said and led me outside again.

I walked to the middle of the circle and looked around. I heard chatter in my head.

He hates you.

It was my voice. I saw reflections of myself and and two figures circling me echoing my voice that played in my head.

He never loved you.

He never will love you.

It's not either of your destinies.

You're weak.

You can become strong.

If you had actual power to do what you wanted.

Not just a disrespected 'General'.

He could never love you.

He never will lov-

"ENOUGH!" I yelled using a strong lust of force to push them away and put of my head.

Fire rushed through them and me causing my gray suit to change into black armor with wings on the back and my bow and arrow to change. And as the fire disappeared a bird whistled(cough cough the mockingjay whistle cough cough).

"Now we know the whole truth," the father said.

"Okay?" I said.

"Your powers only began to work here. Like I said when you need them most they will come, they you will have them all the time," he explained.

"Okay, can my friends and I like leave now?" I asked.

"You may, but before you all go you must hurry. My children will try and stop you," he warned.

"Thank you for telling me," I said.

Anakin's POV

I started to walk up the shuttle ramp. Laza couldn't take hers because she crashed here.

"Ready to get out of here?" Obi Wan asked.

I looked up at him and back at the planet. I ran up onto the shuttle and we took off and began flying back to civilization.
