Laza's POV

Ahsoka and I were fixing the ship while Anakin and Obi Wan talked, figures.

We popped up from the bottom of the ship. "Well you want the bad new," Ahsoka started.

"Or the really bad news?" I finished.

"Well let's try the bad news, laced with a little optimism," Obi Wan said.

"We've got cracked shilo pins, a buster power converter, the engines should be fired twice to dump debris, and the back up vents need charging," I reported.

"Sounds terribly down beat," Obi Wan said scratching his beard, "can it be fixed?"

"Uh, I can reroute the primary initiator, weld the dampening vents, and that might give us enough power to leave the atmosphere. After that, I have no guarantees she'll hold together," Ahsoka said.

"We'll take our chances better than staying here," Obi Wan said exiting the ship. I jumped out of the whole and removed my goggles.

Anakin left the ship with a speeder. I followed.

"Where are you going?" Obi Wan asked.

"To see the father. I'm not convinced the son will be contained here without our help. Perhaps we should make a stand," he answered.

"Anakin--"he cut him off.

"If I don't get the father's blessing to leave... it'll haunt me forever," he said. Just before he left I jumped on the back of the speeder. "What exactly do you think you're doing?" Anakin asked.

"Going with you," I answered.

"Uh uh, no," he said.

"You know you aren't the boss of me," I said.

"Fine," he said and took off to see the father.

We found him and began walking up to him.

"You should've left by now," the father said.

"Our ship needs repairs," Anakin told him.

"Do not underestimate my son. He will seek your ship to escape our isolation and sow terror through the universe. And while you are here he will use you to do it," the father warned Anakin.

"What will you do now that he's given himself over to the dark side?" Anakin asked.

"It is my actions that have unleashed great danger on the universe. I must kill him," he said.

"But he's to powerful for you alone," I warned.

"Hm, perhaps, perhaps not. The force will decide," he said.

"I can help you," Anakin said. I punched his arm.

"We can help you," I said.

"The choice is no longer yours to make. Both our destinies our clouded. But hers is open. This place is strong with the force, darkness has no hold here. Go... ask and you will know what to do," he said ordered and we left.

Master Qui-Gon Jinn appeared. "You have grown strong and powerful. Just as I imagined," he said.

"Master." Anakin gasped.
