Chapter 9: Sorry

Laza's POV

I arrived on Tatooine and stepped into my house. "Mom? May?" I called.

"LAZA!" My sister cheered in excitement.

"Hi!" I said hugging her.

"Hi hun," my mom said and I hugged her.

"May I know you want to see your sister but you need to go to bed sweetie," my mom told May.

"Fine, you'll be here in the morning right?" She asked.

"Of course I'll have to leave tomorrow afternoon though," I told her.

"Okay," she pouted and went off to bed.

My mom and I sat at the table, "you seem upset," she said.

"I am," I sighed.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Anakin and I got in a fight," I said.

"Oh, what about?" She questioned.

"He's been acting strange lately so I started to do some research about Sidious and lied to him and said I was looking up stuff for Master Yoda and be found out I lied to him," I said.

"Well you shouldn't have lied to him," she pointed out.

"I know but he scared me so much in the argument," I said.

"How?" She asked.

"I've had dreams, of him turning dark and trying to kill me and it reminded me of that," I admitted.

"Oh, like ones became real?"

"Yeah," I said tearing up.

"Hun, I'm so sorry," she said.

"But I also came because of the other stressful days and I missed home," I said wiping my eyes.

"Well yeah, you're the head of the Republic military you're busy," she said.

"Yeah," I shrugged.

"You should get some rest to, you've had a rough day," she said.

"Yeah, my bed still there?" I asked.

"Of course, if it was there four months ago it's there now," she laughed.

"Well, goodnight," I yawned.

"Goodnight," she said going off to her room too.

I left my vest on the ship. I took off my black jacket leaving me in a grey long sleeve shirt and black pants. I kicked off my boots and fell into a deep sleep. Home, sweet home...

I woke up the next morning to May waking me up. "Wake up, I wanna spend time with you before you have to go again," she said.

"Okay, okay," I laughed getting up and putting on my boots and tying my jacket around my waist.

I sat at the table and ate some of the bread and fruit we had. "Mm, that's fresh mom, where'd you earn the money for it," I said.

"Well since we are herbalists, we saved some lives and it paid off each way I guess," she said.

"Well that's good, you each are very talented, if you lived Coruscant you could work in the hospital," I said.

"Yeah, but we won't be moving to Coruscant anytime," my mom said.

"Sadly," May frowned.

"If my apartment was bigger I'd let you live with us," I said.

"Us?" May questioned, oh she forgot Anakin and I lived together. Anakin...

"Anakin and I," I said.

"Oh, yeah!" She said.

I heard my comlink going crazy, I answered Master Windu.

"GENERAL STARKILLER! Where in the galaxy are you?!" He said.

"Tatooine I had a big family emergency," I said.

"Okay, just get back here, Young Skywalker is going crazy looking for you," he said.

"Don't... tell him where I am or that you heard from me," I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"Reasons..." I said.

"Whatever you say, General," he sighed.

"Thank you, Master!" I said.

"No problem, my old apprentice," he said.

"Okay my amazing family, my Master needs me home," I sighed.

"NOOO," May frowned.

"I'll be out again sooner," I said hugging them.

"You better," May said.

"I love you both, bye!" I said leaving.

"Bye!" The said in unison.

I landed back on Coruscant and saw Obi Wan and Master Windu.

"We are so glad you're safe," Obi Wan said giving me a hug.

"Thank you," I said.

"Get home and rest we have many battles coming up," Master Windu said.

"Okay," I nodded walking home.

I leaned out on the balcony crying. I waited for Anakin.

I closed my eyes and blocked out the world. I feel like the worst person, he'll never forgive me.

Someone hugged me from behind. I opened my eyes, Anakin.

"Laza, I'm so sorry I would never hurt you and I'm sorry for scaring you," he said as I turned around.

"No, I'm sorry for lying and leaving," I said hugging him.

"Oh, I love you more than the galaxy, than life, than everything. Never forget that. I would never ever hurt you even on accident and I never want to leave you," he said holding me tight.

"I love you so much you have no idea and I want you to know that, I love you more than anything. I'll never leave again," I said.

"Good, I can't live without you."
