Hey guys, before I start I'm sorta doing the opera scene from the movie but they aren't at the opera...

Anakin's POV
A few days later
I went to talk to the Chancellor, I went up to his office. I walked in, "ah, Anakin just the person I wanted to talk to," he said."Oh," I said walking in.
"Well, I'd like to tell you that after the bases were destroyed the fighting has started to go down," he said.
"That's good," I said and sat down.
"Anakin, you know I'm not able to rely on the Jedi council. If they haven't included you in their plot, they soon will," he told me.
"I'm not sure I understand," I said.
"You must sense what I have come to expect. The Jedi council wants control of the Republic, they're planning to betray me," he explained.
"I don't think tha-" he cut me off.
"Anakin, search your feelings, you know don't you?" He questioned.
"I know they don't trust you," I admitted.
"Mm, or the senate, or the Republic, or democracy for that matter," he said.
"I have to admit, my trust in them has been shaken," I told him.
"Why? They asked you to do something that made you feel dishonest, didn't they? They asked you to spy on me, didn't they?" He questioned. How'd he figure that out?
"I don't uh, I don't know what to say," I said.
"Remember back to your early teachings, all who gain power are afraid to loose it, even the Jedi," he said.
"The Jedi use their power for good," I threw in.
"Good is a point of view, Anakin. The Sith and the Jedi are similar in almost every way... including their quest for great power," he explained.
"The Sith rely on their passion for strength, they think inwards, only about themselves," I said.
"And the Jedi don't?" He asked.
"The Jedi are selfless, they only care about others," I added.
"You ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise?" He asked.
"No," I answered.
"I thought not, it's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a dark lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could influence the midichlorian to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying," he explained.
"He could actually save people... from death?" I asked.
"The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities that some consider to be unnatural," he told me.
"What happened to him?" I asked.
"He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was loosing his power. Which, eventually of course he did. Unfortunately he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic, he could save others from death, but not himself," he explained.
"Is it possible to learn this power?" I asked.
"Not from a Jedi," he told me.

I got home and sat on the couch. The nightmares were getting worse. Laza actually died. I need to save her.
I can't hurt her, I won't hurt her! I'll save her, I won't let her die. She can't die on me.
