"Rapunzel! Let down your hair!" A woman with raven hair shouted from the foot of Rapunzel's tower. It was her mother, Mother Gothel.

After she received no response, she called out again. "Not going to work, Gothel," a voice echoed from the shadows.

"Pitch Black," she sneered, "What do you mean?"

"Why don't you take a look for yourself, hm?" The man named Pitch Black walked out from the darkness.

Gothel narrowed her eyes and went to the back of the tower. Hidden under some rocks and leaves was a cellar door that lead to the inside of the tower.

"Rapunzel!" She called out. Again, no response. Gothel frantically ran to the second floor; Rapunzel's room.

"Isn't it already obvious? She's gone," Pitch stated, standing near the open window.

"No," Gothel whispered, "She couldn't have!" She yelled.

"Oh, but she did. Look at you now," Pitch walked towards Gothel, touching her hair, "You're quickly getting older,"

Gothel slapped his hand away. She looked into the mirror and he was right. Her hair had some white hair in them and her skin was slightly wrinkled.

"Ugh," she groaned in disgust. She turned to the Boogeyman, "You helped me get her. You will help me get her again," she ordered with contempt.

"And what will be in it for me?" Pitch asked.

"I gave you an entire kingdom's fear when I kidnapped their beloved princess. Now, if she goes back, that fear will be replaced with happiness," Gothel replied, "And as a bonus, you get to destroy a potential Guardian," she added her fingers tracing some of the remaining frost on the wall.

The four neared the body of water, Merida walking in the lead. The sound of rushing water became louder and louder and as they passed the last row of trees, there flowed a river with fish.

"Jackpot!" Merida cheered.

"Rivers!" Rapunzel cheered and jumped excitedly into the water.

"Careful, Punzie," Jack warned, though not in a worried way but in a rather carefree way. The river seemed to be quite deep from were Rapunzel jumped in.

The blonde surfaced and was completely soaked, laughing, "That was fun," she commented.

She reached out and Merida took her hand, helping her out of the water. As soon as Rapunzel was on land, she pulled her extremely long hair out of the water.

"Not as fun as fishing," Merida grinned, "Start a fire, Hiccup. Jack, help me catch fish," she stated.

"No, thank you. I might freeze the river," Jack said, sitting down near a rock.

"Roger that," Hiccup set the basket near Jack. He looked around for sticks, stones or anything thay can start a fire.

Rapunzel, on the other hand, watched Merida, trying yo dry her hair.

Merida took one of the arrows from the quiver and aimed at a fish from the more shallow parts of the river. She lets the arrow loose and shoot! She just caught a fish.

"Here ya go," she took the arrow and gave it to Hiccup. He set the arrow above two sticks near the fire.

Merida shot three more and soon, the four of them had fish on leaves for an afternoon snack.

They chatted and Merida made mention of a 'presentation of suitors'. It made Hiccup choke, as if he had something to do with it.

They continued chattering until a loud cry, rather familiar to Hiccup and Merida, echoed from the other side of the river. There was a black creature with wings and a tail, seemingly struggling to fly. It poked its head into the river, maybe trying to grab some fish for a little snack. Sadly, it had nothing.
