"You're so dedicated to these children. It's foolish," Pitch chuckled, "You'll protect them, but who's protecting you?"
And just in time, a portal opened.
"We will," said Hiccup, Rapunzel and Merida as they jumped out of the portal, their weapons readied.
"A group of pathetic kids are going to protect you against this?" Pitch lifted his arms and a giant wave of black sand towered over them, "Still believe there's no such thing as the Boogeyman?"
The sand rushed towards them. Rapunzel stood forward, holding her hand out. "We believe in you. We're just not afraid of you,"
With those words in her lips and in her heart, Rapunzel shut her eyes tight and waited for the impact. As soon as the sand touched her hand, it turned the entire wave into gold sand.
All of the gold sand, even some from far off places, came together in between Pitch and the Guardians. It emitted a bright gold light, almost blinding. From it appeared the Sandman.
Pitch started to run away, but just when he was far enough, Sandy used his gold sand to form a rope-like projectile which he used to grab one of Pitch's wrists and dragged him back to the Guardians. Pitch was then swung about and thrown away, now unconscious.
"Sandy!" The Guardians cheered, coming around the small, gold man in a big group hug.
"Nice save!"
"Welcome back!"
"You sure are a sight for sore eyes,"
Said Tooth, North and Bunny all at once. Jack merely chuckled, standing by his friends.
Sandy then formed a gold sand cloud where he sent gold sand out to children all over the world, giving them the sweet dreams they have missed.
"Watch," Jack said, reaching out to a stream. When his fingers came into contact with the sand, a dolphin formed, prancing about in the air.
"I wanna try!" Rapunzel went ahead to touch another stream. It turned into a bunch of small birds singing sweetly to her. She laughed, dancing about on the ground.
"You two try," Jack said invitingly to Merida and Hiccup.
The two exchanged looks before reaching upwards to intercept an incoming stream of sand. A flying manta ray and a pony appeared. Toothless decided to join in and he got a school of fish to chase about.
There were all sort of things formed by these streams. There was even a possibly life-sized branchiosaurus. There were at least two of these dinosaurs. Jack decided to make it snow a little for a bit more fun.
Everyone was having such a blast, chasing around the sand creations or throwing snowballa at each other.
"Found your center?" North asked the stand-by Jack. He would usually join in, but he wasn't now.
"It took me a while," Jack sighed, smiling, "But it was worth it,"
North gave Jack a chuckle before getting hit by a snowball. Everyone paused.
"It was Hiccup!" Merida jumped while holding onto the lanky boy's shoulders. She ran off, her feet tracking prints on the snow.
"H-hey! No! She's lying!" Hiccup shouted in objection, chasing after Merida.
"Ho ho! You're all on naughty list!" North scooped up some snow in his hands, rolling it into two balls for each hand. He followed in the chase, aiming for both of them. When he thought he had a clear shot, he throws.
