The Four: Things Will Change

22 ~Stranger Visions~

As soon as Rapunzel's voice faded away, Jack stopped trying to break the stone wall. He tried to find another way. He walked around, trying to see if there is a different way to go behind the wall.

He soon realized that his surroundings changed. Instead of the dark cave, he was in the same forest where he met Rapunzel.

After minutes of walking, he saw the other side of the stone wall and there was nothing. No Rapunzel, no water... nothing at all.

"What's going on...?" He muttered to himself.

He wandered around more. He bumps into the rest of the Guardians who were apparently looking for him.

"Jack!" They all exclaimed in relief. Jack ran towards them and Tooth gave him a tight hug.

"Tooth! You're okay," Jack sighed in relief, "What happened to you guys?"

"Night Mares wouldn't stop attacking. They just kept coming and coming," North stated, "Though at one point, they stopped multiplying and it was easier to put them out. That was when a shadow of Pitch swooped down and flew towards the workshop. The remaining Night Mares and that shadow destroyed everything and left. That was when you came and told us to follow you. Then, we lost you,"

"And now, we found you. What're you doin' 'ere? I thought you knew where Pitch was or something," Bunny spoke.

"I did. Now I'm not so sure," Jack sighed, "I heard Rapunzel in trouble so I went to her and now... Now, I don't know where she is or if she's okay,"

"One thing's for sure; Pitch ain't here," Bunny said.

"Jack!?"

They all turned their attention to where the voice must be coming from.

"Did you hear that?" Tooth whispered.

"Jack!"

"It's Emma," Jack muttered.

"Who is Emma?" Bunny asked, confused.

"She's--"

"My sister," Jack finished Tooth's sentence. He took out the gold cylinder from his pocket and gave it to Tooth, "Thank you," he said in a smile.

"Your welcome," Tooth smiled as well.

Jack nodded and ran off to the source of the voice. The Guardians tried to stop him, but North ordered them to just follow Jack. He must know something they didn't.

Merida ran from the demon bear, nearly getting clawed. With no hesitation, she climbed the rising pile of bones. Mor'du gave chase. She stopped at the top of the pile as it was not directly under the hole on the ceiling like she thought.

Suddenly, another black bear poked its head into the hole. It started growling in panic, holding its paw out to her.

Merida was confused, but she took the risk, for Mor'du was so close to grabbing her by the leg.

The bear's paw was still quite far away, so Merida jumped for it. While holding out her hand, she hoped she will reach the other bear. And she did.

This black bear pulled Merida out of the hole, placed her on its back and started to run. "That was close!!" Merida shouted.

She looked around to see if her father was anywhere, though the only thing that caught her eye was the changed surroundings.

The volcano was gone and there were trees and thick fog everywhere. The fact she was riding a bear and this bear wasn't trying to kill her was also quite strange for her.
